St. Paddy parade still going by beneath our windows. It's been going for five hours or more. Alas, not many spectators curbside to cheer on the paraders. Still, it's nice to listen to the drumbeats of the marchers and an occasional serenade of Irish or patriotic music.

Rock is mostly such a sham...
The Country scene is where I am!

>> Hey T'wit, wish I could see the parade!
It's pretty strange looking almost straight down at a parade! No sun, chilly weather, snow on the ground from yesterday (normal temp is 50 for mid-March). Parade watchers: thin to non-existent. Which is not what TV reported -- they said the paraders' enthusiasm was undampened by the bad weather, and that 2 million people turned out to watch. Ha! At times when I looked out, anyone could have had a "front-row" location for watching the parade -- if anyone had been there. Maybe they were watching from some other location.

Good evening, Meekie.
Thank you for bringing coffee this morning.
I've been kinda busy today, we are going to be gone next week. There are several things I need to finish before we leave.
Hope your day was marvelous.
