I guess I had one of those moments of depression.

I'm just frustrated I can't be on when a lot of folks are posting because I'm time limited and can only post at certian times.

It's just unfortunately that those are times when a lot of folks are working or something else keeps them away.

But it's gonna take awhile before I can get a PC of my own.

I voted to re-instate the death penalty in California

There are people so vicious and vile, they need to be removed from society forever.

Our justice system bends over backwards to protect the rights of the criminal; Many times to the detriment to society. Serial murderers will murder again; child rapists will rape and kill again. Why are they ever released back into society?

Don't you enjoy it whenever Donald Rumsfeld gets his point across in his own special way with the news media? I used to wish Ari would tell Helen to just sit back and shut up!

Both Rumsfeld and Fleischer are/were some of the best I've seen at handling the press. Absolutely a first-rate lesson, and by way of thinking, first-rate entertainment -- without being arrogant or demeaning -- a common charge by the press when they have been bested or outwitted. If only they would think through their questions, or practice on someone other than a rabid Democrat who would let them know honestly how they're coming across.

Exactly, but you'll never convince the bleeding hearts that never met a murderer that they didn't want to 'save'.

Interesting, I think I heard earlier some guest criminal psychiatrist on MSNBC advancing a possible insanity defense on behalf of Saddam. Unbelievable. Meanwhile, his briefcase contained notes of meetings with his terrorist ring leaders and he had money to make it happen -- all very calculating. Those bleeding hearts can't tell me he didn't know right from wrong. I hope the Iraqi judge and jury would agree.

Hey .... you never ruin a thread!!

The death penalty is a very sensitive issue. None of us like the idea of taking a life but there are time when it seems to be the only answer. Many times, a person is given life and then liberal judges come along and grant probation. Guess they don't know the meaning of a life sentence.

We enjoy seeing you whenever you are able to come by. Hope it is often.

Dubya is saying it's up to the Iraqi people whether they go for the DP. I think they'll want that. I hope so !

No, ma'am. Sorry I didn't reply to each comment on the DP issue. Nothing you said upset me in the least, Pippen. Folks are different and each has their own experiences that drives their thoughts, emotions, etc. I know you are more sensitive to the DP issue than I am. I have read a lot of the Texas execution articles. Heck, I post MOST of 'em, I think, lol ! I see what these horrible folks have done and then listen to them whine about stuff and deny their guilt (in light of STARK evidence that is irrefutable) and then they and their lawyers make them out as 'victims' and it's just such a crock. Talk about Liberals ! These guys are the epitome of Liberalism.

Now, then ... if we could just do to the politicians what we do to the DP inmates !
