EL PASO, TX — After the political winds ushered in sweeping changes to the Lone Star State last night, with radical Democrats taking power in what had been a staunchly conservative stronghold, millions of Texans were seen crossing the Rio Grande into Mexico.
As Democrats prepared to give Texas a drastic makeover, longtime conservative residents of the state packed up their most treasured possessions and prepared to flee in search of a better life somewhere south of the border.
"We're setting off to find a place where we can live in freedom," said conservative Texan Derek Johnson. "I've got a wife and kids, so I'm wanting to give them a better life somewhere where they won't have to live under oppressive third-world tyranny. I think life in Mexico under the cartels sounds a lot better than living in a blue Texas. The food is really good, too."
While Texas had long been viewed as the standard-bearer for conservative Republican states in the U.S., the "blue wave" looked to displace millions of patriotic Americans who feared for their futures under Democratic rule. "It's not going to be safe to live here," said Fort Worth resident Chris Wilson. "It's time to go in search of liberty and a brighter future filled with more opportunity. Maybe Venezuela. It'll be better there than here in a few years, that's for sure."
At publishing time, the incoming Democratic regime in Texas had reportedly planned to install a border fence to prevent fleeing Republicans from leaving the state.

Can’t be any worse the living under democrats power.
Gen’rl Santa Ana would be so proud of Texans right now. As they should have years ago, they surrendered. This time to commies and pervs. Well done. I lived there for over a decade and admired many Texans, even the imports who assimilated and flew both flags in their neighborhoods.
Moved to CaCaLand four decades ago – different story entirely. Regardless, I now regard my time in Texas with extreme shame. Instead of brave and steadfast folks, the state seems to be a habitat of little more than lazy clowns who couldn’t be bothered to get off their fat butts and vote.
Texas will be 'home' to the rest of Somalia soon, so get out while you can... totalitarians build walls to keep productive people from escaping...run away while you still can ...
Bout time to open one of them thar learing centers.
I’ve always said that IF we americans want true rights, no opposition, and a huge welcome by liberals (why anyone would want that i dunno, but) we should sneak across into mexico, renounce our american citizenship, then sneak back into america, have a bunch of anchor babies, and liberals will throw all kinds of money and perks and whatnot our way, and nothing we do from thereon out will be considered illegal or bad by dems.
With all the natural resources Mexico has, including it’s people, we should be breaking into THEIR country for the opportunities.
Mdexico’s laws might give pause to the Exodus ... abortion completely legal, abortifactants sold in pharmacies OTC, no scrip needed.
West Texas Sheriff threatened to set up “pregnancy checkpoint” on highway into El Paso/Juarez, it was getting to be the easier path than heading to East coast.
Lol, too hot there. And the water is bad lol
Shore thang a lot of Lone Star Staters seem to have forgotten The Alamo, going by the election results here.
It’s not a stretch to say that a lot of Texans will be leaving. I will soon be retiring and I will be one of them.
This would be a great “dead head thread”.

I see a fair number of Texas plates on vehicles around the Treasure Valley.
In some ways, Idaho is like Texas, but without the drawl. Elmer Keith was an Idahoan.
