Pritzker, the billionaire heir to the Hyatt hotel fortune, responded to all of the ire with his dollars — contributing $1.2 million to Democratic gubernatorial candidate Gina Hinojosa and $100,000 to U.S. Senate candidate James Talarico through the super PAC Lone Star Rising. Pritzker was Hinojosa’s second-largest donor, behind only the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, which gave $1.49 million. Pritzker also hosted a Chicago fundraiser for Talarico last year.
He also gave $25,000 each to the Texas House Democratic Caucus and the Texas House Democratic Party Campaign Committee. And he helped Texas Railroad Commissioner Democratic candidate Don Rosenthal with a $25,000 contribution and gave $10,000 each to Travis County Judge Andy Brown and Bexar County Judge Ron Nirenburg.
All of the Texas candidates Pritzker supported won Tuesday night.

So when do you think Gov Creosote’s heart gives out.
Like Texas, there are no term limits for the Governor of Illinois. Maybe the people of the State will get tired of Pritzker, like they did Abbott. He's been in office since 2019. Abbott became Governor of Texas in 2015, serving only our years longer than Pritzker has.
JB Pritzker may be aspiring to the nomination on the Democrat (Socialist) ticket for the office of the US Presidency. He seems to be thinking that he has bought his way in, at least partly.
Another malefactor of great wealth.
But of course. The thing Democrat politicians don’t have is shame, honor, morals, or respect for anyone but themselves and that party of backstabbing snakes. This is just a preview of what coming at you. Get prepared, stock up and keep on your toes to fight for our freedoms. Biden regime took them away over some virus don’t think they won’t be trying it again. The one thing Democrat politicians have is they are vengeful against anyone who crossed them. That includes all the citizens.
“responded to all of the ire with his dollars — contributing $1.2 million to Democratic gubernatorial candidate Gina Hinojosa and $100,000 to U.S. Senate candidate James Talarico”
This is BS and one of the things wrong with politics. If the person donating does not live where the other person is running they should be prohibited by law to donate. Irks me when you see an out stater donating at state (like governor or senator) or local level campaigns. Businesses as well. They should be tied to be a resident of where the corporation is registered.
That was not it. They flooded the Hispanic community with ICE horror stories that they tied to Abbott. The Hispanic vote went in huge numbers back to the rats as intended went they let them in.
Pritzker did the same thing in Nevada. He is trying to set the table for his 2028 presidential bid with his campaign contributions.
He coasted to victory over an inept opponent on Tuesday and managed to avoid any discussion of the long term damage that has occurred in Illinois under his ineffective administration. Many Illinois counties actually want to separate from the state.
Pritzker just hates handicapped people. I think that’s just wrong and unethical.
The field is wide open. And he can self fund.
A simple proposed solution to this problem.
Introduction
Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to restrict campaign contributions for candidates to eligible voters.
Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled (two-thirds of each House concurring therein), That the following article is proposed as an amendment to the Constitution of the United States, which shall be valid to all intents and purposes as part of the Constitution when ratified by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States:
Proposed Amendment - Campaign Contributions Limited to Eligible Voters
Section 1. Only natural persons who are eligible to vote for a candidate may contribute money or anything of value to that candidate’s campaign.
Section 2. No organization, association, corporation, or other entity shall make, fund, direct, or facilitate contributions to any candidate’s campaign.
Section 3. No person shall make a contribution to any candidate’s campaign on behalf of, or using funds provided by, any individual or entity not eligible to contribute under this article.
Section 4. Congress and the States shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
Statement of Intent
The purpose of this amendment is to ensure that electoral influence over candidates for public office is limited to those who are entitled to vote for them. By tying campaign contributions directly to voter eligibility, this amendment strengthens representative democracy, reduces external and institutional influence over elections, and preserves the principle that elected officials should be accountable only to their constituents.
If only that would make the floor and be voted on and passed.
Does Smithfield know Pritzker is missing?
Yeah, we’re probably beyond the point of return on that issue. Too much money and too many grifters.
Mount Pritzker makes an utterance. Huzzah.
I was thinking the same thing.
Bleah! Pritzger the overindulged putz speaks.
