WRT accusations in Israel that aides to Mr. Netanyahu took money from Qatar
............and influenced the government of Israel to say nice things about Qatar
Netanyahu allowed Qatar to transfer funds to Gaza for “humanitarian reasons.”
Key points regarding Qatar, Netanyahu, and his aides: The ongoing probe, dubbed “Qatargate” by Israeli media, centers on allegations that Netanyahu’s former spokesperson, Eli Feldstein, and political adviser, Jonatan Urich, accepted payments from Qatar to distribute pro-Qatari messages to Israeli media.
According to investigators, Feldstein received a monthly salary from an American lobbyist for Qatar while working in the Prime Minister’s Office. Court documents state that the aides worked to present “sympathetic articles” about Qatar in the media, minimizing Egypt’s role in mediation.
Netanyahu has denied knowing about his aides’ alleged actions, claiming he was not involved and was not paid by Qatar. He has dismissed the investigation as a politically motivated “witch hunt” and “libel”.
For years, with Netanyahu’s unblinking support, Qatar sent millions of dollars in cash to the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip for “humanitarian purposes.” This policy has drawn criticism with claims it helped “prop up” Hamas.
Allegations and investigations have focused on payments from Qatar to Netanyahu’s close aides, who may be shielding Netanyahu himself about “being paid” to say nice things about Qatar. A sign Netanyahu might be working assiduously to throw people off the trail, Netanyahu’s public statements have been mildly critical of Qatar, despite Netanyahu’s willingness to facilitate Qatar sending funds to Gaza.
Is Laura Loomer trying to feminize Tsrael?
Israel has a complex relationship with feminism; while the country’s founding principles and laws, such as the Women’s Equal Rights Law, establish legal equality and there are strong feminist movements, there is also significant internal division within the movement itself, along religious and ethnic lines, and societal backlash and resistance to feminist principles exist, with some religious sectors imposing patriarchal norms in the private sphere.
Propaganda from Netanyahu would have us believe Trump is an Israeli accessory to bigshot Netanyahu.
During the first half of 2025, Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu have maintained a relationship of political necessity, balancing expressions of public praise with significant private friction and policy disagreements. Their ties are generally viewed as a pragmatic alliance rather than a true friendship, with each leader leveraging the relationship to his own political advantage.
Recent developments in 2025
Public displays of unity: Following joint US-Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities in June 2025, the two leaders exchanged highly positive public remarks. Netanyahu praised Trump for acting decisively against Iran and called him a “great friend of the State of Israel”. During their White House meetings, Trump in turn called Netanyahu a “war hero” and praised their “strong partnership”.
Growing rifts and disagreements: Despite the public compliments, reports emerged throughout spring and summer 2025 detailing significant disagreements.
Gaza war and humanitarian crisis: The leaders have clashed over how to proceed with the war in Gaza. In July 2025,
Trump publicly contradicted Netanyahu’s claim that there was “no starvation in Gaza,” stating that reports showed otherwise and promising to work with allies to deliver aid.
Iran policy: While they collaborated on the military strikes, they have disagreed on subsequent strategy. Trump has reportedly shown interest in a deal with Iran, while Netanyahu favors military pressure.
Ceasefire talks: During a July 2025 visit, Trump reportedly pushed Netanyahu to accept a Gaza ceasefire deal, applying pressure that Netanyahu’s far-right coalition partners oppose.
Hostage and Iran talks: Trump has at times sidelined Netanyahu on major negotiations. In mid-2025, the US held talks with Hamas and Iran without Israel’s full coordination, causing concern in Jerusalem.
Trump’s unpredictability: Reports indicate that Netanyahu and his allies are often uneasy with Trump’s impulsive decision-making. For instance, Trump’s sudden push for a ceasefire in July 2025 conflicted with Netanyahu’s hardline stance.
A transactional relationship: Analysts view the relationship as a “marriage of convenience”. Trump can appeal to his pro-Israel base, including evangelicals, by aligning with Netanyahu. In return, Netanyahu receives diplomatic and military backing and a strong public image of a close US alliance.
Close ties and support: During Trump’s initial presidency, the relationship was outwardly very strong. Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, moved the US embassy there, and recognized Israel’s annexation of the Golan Heights. He also withdrew the US from the Iran nuclear deal, a top priority for Netanyahu.
A major rupture: A significant personal rift occurred after the 2020 US election, when Netanyahu congratulated President-elect Joe Biden. Trump, still disputing the results, felt betrayed and reportedly said, “Fuck him,” about Netanyahu.

Benjamin Netanyahu’s immediate public congratulations to Joe Biden following the 2020 U.S. election caused problems because it infuriated Donald Trump.
Netanyahu also strained his relationship with the new Biden administration. The public nature of the message created a diplomatic tightrope walk that angered both sides.
Trump viewed the Israeli congratulations as an act of betrayal. Trump reportedly responded with profanity, telling an Israeli journalist, “F*** him——Netanyahu.” This damaged the close relationship the two leaders had developed during Trump’s presidency.
In a 2021 interview, Trump said, “Nobody did more for Bibi.... But I also like loyalty. Bibi could have stayed quiet”.
Trump was reportedly angered by a video Netanyahu released on inauguration day celebrating a “warm personal friendship” with Biden.....Netanyahu acted quickly to keep the US tax dollars rolling in to wealthy Israel’s coffers.
Netanyahu’s decision to congratulate Biden was a necessary financially-motivated diplomatic step to acknowledge the new US president. However, his strong alignment with Trump made the move particularly challenging.
Netanyahu was quicker than the Energizer bunny-—the first foreign leader to suck-up to Biden-— although Netanyahu quickly promulgated propaganda that he “waited” to congratulate Biden. His initial tweet did not use the term “President-elect,” and was followed by a separate tweet thanking Trump.....was the CYA story concocted when Netanyahu realized he was in deep doo-doo.
The delay set a poor tone for the new relationship. Biden and Netanyahu did not have their first phone call until weeks after the election, and their relationship remained strained throughout Biden’s term, exacerbated by policy differences. It quickly recovered when Biden unloaded $12.5 billion tax dollars on wealthy Israel in 2024-——it was an election year, after all, and Harris was sinking fast.
Former Biden administration officials have stated that Netanyahu and his team sometimes “sabotaged” ceasefire negotiations in Gaza. This reflects the deep distrust that developed between the two leaders following the 2020 election.
By aligning so closely with Trump, Netanyahu risked alienating the Democratic Party-—which Jews wholeheatedly and financially support—— and undermining Israel’s traditional bipartisan support in the U.S. His handling of the 2020 transition exemplified this political gamble.
The incident highlighted the delicate balance international leaders must strike, especially with its benefactor-—the US -——and a potentially volatile outgoing administration. Netanyahu’s attempt to please both sides ended up damaging his standing with both.
