In my amateur opinion, it looks ridiculous. The lighting doesn’t match at all.

Totally faked. The blurred, static images in the backdrop are one indication -- nothing at all is moving, not even a leaf or small tree branch. Another indication is the sharp focus on the two people, and the extremely sharp edges. The interview was done indoors, with a green screen or electronic equivalent, and the outdoor shots were pasted in later.

But wait.... does this surprise us somehow? No, it does not.

I’m not a video expert, but it looks like a green screen job. But what I notice mostly is that Knowlittle looks to his lower left quite a bit. Taking lines and topics from a prompter it seems.

But, when you looked at all of the mobile phones recording it (the video was close to the stage, so only captured a small handful of real people), all you could see was her with a green screen behind her?

That is exactly correct. Does it surprise you? Doesn't surprise me. These politicians have zero shame. If there was such a thing as negative shame, they would have it.
