This five minute video shows where canola oil, vegetable shortening, and cattle feed come from. No wonder our spending on health care is so high.

Nice that it starts out with the atypical gaslighting on its health properties.

That looks really grungy. Like under the hood of a car.
I wonder what a commercial olive press or butter churn looks like in action. Or a lard renderer.
I hope none of those involve solvents or sodium hydroxide.
Canola Incorporated never convinced us.
Avocado oil is also okay but we mostly use butter and olive oil.
Agree. But we eat them. Guacamole! Yeah!

The video presented nothing (evidence) to justify [b].
You would be shocked at the food products that use the solvent dihydrogen monoxide. And they sometimes neutralize it with Hydrogen Hydroxide.
Please join the campaign to ban the use of dihydrogen monoxide in food production.
“My bride and I use olive oil and butter. Only olive oil and butter.”
My wife could be a chef as well as a good nurse.
We basically only use real butter, olive oil from a good friend and Costco’s Extra Virgin oil.

We do the same with the addition of Costco Avocado oil as it IS healthy and has a 500F smoke point - very helpful for fried race and burgers on the griddle.
GO TRUMP!
Avocados are on sale now, 3/a$. My wife has some avocado oil hidden away for her special salads.
“What’s in Bacon Up?
And what happened to the bacon?!
Bacon Up is authentic bacon grease, captured as our supplier makes bacon bits and pre-cooked bacon for their other customers. Nothing goes to waste! They triple-filter it and add a small amount of BHA – an antioxidant that protects the flavor.”
I do believe that W.C.Fields started that campaign…🙂
Guacamole rocks.
I eat avocados too, let them soften, then spread on seed bread and put in microwave for a minute, then top with poached eggs and Trader Joe Sweet Chili Sauce, a basic food group in my house.
I get Extra Virgin Olive Oil at AMZ to coat cups of egg poacher so the little darlings plop right out on the toast.
There was an avocado shortage this summer because they need a lot of water to grow and rain was scarce. I bought a bunch at a time and kept them in freezer until night before I was going to eat them. They survive freezing just fine. Walmart had them for eighty cents last week, so I bought five. At other stores, as much as $3.25 each.
That’s why I would like RFK Jr. as head of the FDA.
The only thing I know is that anything which is cooked with canola oil tastes nasty.
“That’s why I would like RFK Jr. as head of the FDA.”
Four years under President Trump and 8 more under our new president!
THE HORROR!
