On today's Morning Joe, there wasn't much of interest in any of the panel's jabber about next week's presidential debate, until . . . Jonathan Lemire said this:
"Some Democrats have said privately, that if Biden has a very bad night, there'll be real worries about whether he can continue forward with his campaign."
Whoa!
Democrat knives out for Biden!
Get the rest of the story and view the video here.

Wonder who those Dems who told Lemire Biden might have to drop out if Biden has a bad debate? Hillary? Michelle?
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
Won’t happen. Bish*t will be pumped full of adderal next Thursday. Even if what he says is jibberish, the MSM will crow about his “energy”.
This is the plan.
Biden fails
Trump’s fault
Another leftist totalitarian gets crowned
The beat goes on...
If Fetterman can get elected, Bidon can get elected.
The Rats eat their wounded, and always did.
Believe nothing Team Biden says.
They are gaslighting observers.......desperately lowering expectations
so that whatever nonsense Biden comes up with will be viewed as a win.
Expect an all out war. When all is said and done, they’d be better off keeping him, and betting on the advantage of incumbency.
I’m actually kind of surprised CNN hasn’t called for a midday debate to be recorded and aired (with whatever tweaks) later.
Trump strategy -
Be Presidential
Attack Biden for his horrible record.
Stay cool and and above the fray.
Let Biden hang himself
Make your points but sand bag enough so that Biden stays in the race.
Just some prodding from unknown sources to put some pressure on the Biden campaign.
The dems know even more than we know about Biden’s weaknesses. They must be running with him because they believe the meds will get him through the debate. They probably also believe the campaign will be a referendum on Trump not Biden.
If Biden squeaks by enough in the debate to where that premise still holds true I suspect Biden stays put. That requires Biden to debate close to the level he has done in the past.
If the easter bunny shows up to guide Biden to his podium location then all bets are off.
What I find curious —
Whenever people talk about how Biden might need to be replaced for one reason or another, there is never any mention of Kamala.
And yes — obviously — she’s a disaster and no sane person would be suggesting that she be president.
But still, the core concept of president and vice president is that if something happens to the top person, then the second tier person is ready to go. Harrison, Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley, FDR, JFK, Nixon — we all know how this works.
But now we just magically find ourselves in a world where it’s more like: “If Joe’s debate doesn’t go well, maybe the governor of California can be the nominee.”
I hope the first female vice president (a Person of Color) is not offended that no one is giving her the time of day ...
They’re just lowering expectations. Democrats are good at that. They’re exceptionally proficient at the ‘soft bigotry of lowered expectations.’
Maybe John F’n Carry is still ready to serve? Or why not Joe and Mika? P and VP, who’s on top would be the question...
It would be a first, but I strongly agree that it’s how he should act.
Trump knows the debate will be 3 against 1. They’ll try to goad him to violate the gag order and say something about the phony convictions. SCOTUS will supposedly issue their ruling on presidential immunity the day before the debate so when they start to hammer him about J6 he can just say he’ll wait to see if the democrats obey the court or ignore it the way Biden did when they told him he could not transfer billions of debt from the people who owe tuition loans to the taxpayers.
Trump will be debating Jake Tapper and Dana Bash. So I won’t be watching the debate.
Biden will then attack Trump for "threatening democracy".
Yep. I can see it already. Why watch if I know what will happen during the debate?
If they want to replace Biden, they will have to chose Kamala. Otherwise, black voters will be offended -
