Homeowner Locked Out Of House Pleads with His Feline Companions To Let Him In
The Pet Zealot ^ | December 01, 2023 | James Alain L.

Cats have always been known for their mysterious and independent nature. They can be a source of unconditional love and comfort for their humans, but they also possess a streak of cunning and aloofness. In a recent incident, a homeowner found himself locked out of his house, with the keys safely inside. Little did he know, his feline companions held the power to either let him in or leave him stranded outside.

YIKES!

THAT brand of adventure is NOT on my Bucket List.

I’ve never donated as I’m pretty sure I’m in the middle of using all I’ve got. My mid-life near-blackout experiences on roller coasters — I used to be SUCH a G Hog — leave me convinced I’d best keep all my little corpuscles to myself, and serve them a dose of iron and exercise every day or so.

I ain’t as good as I once was...
But I’m as good now — once — as I ever was.

I donated blood (a gallon?) until I was diagnosed with CFIDS, and since “they” still don’t know what causes it or how it is spread, I opted to not donate any more, and when the disease is active, I won’t go near babies under 6 months old. Just in case.

Aww... Floofy little baby!

Good morning. I hope you had a good night.

How was your yesterday?

I’ve been up for a while but had an email letter to write and now it’s about time for me to go take my shower.

My only plans for today are to go to Casey’s and come home.

The rest of the day will be spent in preparation for tomorrow’s jaunt to Kanab to find the old floof that is waiting for me. I think I have everything together and will make sure to ask for a bit of food to bring home and mix it with what I have so as not to upset the newcomer’s stomach.

And maybe I’ll find a cheaper vet here than what I had when I was here with Beaker and Gonzo.

Anyway, off to the shower!

Good morning. Happy Humph Day!

We should get up to 60 fs today. That from a start of 29.

I don’t know of owrk was especially demanding yesterday or I was just feeling day 3 of the time zone change. But I was wiped out by the end of the day. Maybe it was both.

I went over to the in-laws’ again yesterday. F-I-L asked me what was wrong with his mower. He’d drained the battery trying to start it, although he only tried “a few times”. It might be that he neglected the choke (again!) or it might be that it was out of gas.

I got it to start after putting the charger on and adding some gas. I told him to charge it this morning for about an hour. We’ll see how that goes. I also suggested that at 91 he should leave the yard work to me. I’m sure that went in one ear and out the other.

Still riding the see-saw on Wordle. If I’m doing my maths correctly, Friday will be Wordle’s 1000th game.

Morning, all. Pretty good night. Yesterday is kind of a blur, so I guess it was okay. I have a Bible study meeting this morning, and then we’ll see how other things go.

One week to Envirothon, so the youth are supposed to study.

Good Midweek Morning!

Got some mowing done yesterday and hope to get a lot more done today... we are heading in to a rainy spell (at least it is forecast to be rainy) and I don’t want the grass and weeds to get to far ahead...

Another tough Wordle for me...

Sally has good taste in cats! Lots of yellacats on the website, so I may end up with one of them. Or maybe a PV lookalike. Or maybe a Bandit.

Star Link is definitely in the cards somewhere. Depends on how much a roving SL costs verses one that is locked to a particular geographic area. I honestly haven’t looked in to it too far as of yet.

So, F-I-L managed to get his mower started again, but it won’t stay started. He blew up at Mrs. ArGee for suggesting that maybe, at 91, he doesn’t need to ride his mower.

I’m gong to go over this evening again and reinforce this message.

Not that I expect it to be heard.
