Cats have always been known for their mysterious and independent nature. They can be a source of unconditional love and comfort for their humans, but they also possess a streak of cunning and aloofness. In a recent incident, a homeowner found himself locked out of his house, with the keys safely inside. Little did he know, his feline companions held the power to either let him in or leave him stranded outside.

Morning. Frank is going to get glasses. Kathleen has a riding lesson this afternoon. I need to make some phone calls about Stewardship stuff.
If you really want a “bumper crop” you could play any of a raft of old school games here:
playclassic.games
They’ve even got “Oregon Trail” where you try your hand at being a pioneer and not dying.
I had that game “Oregon Trail” and died every time I played! LOL!
But I’ll check out that site! Thanks!
When Wordle gets too boring, I’m either at Epoch Times doing the Daily Crossword, or trying to stay ahead of pirates in the seas around southeast Asia.
I’ve also recently been turned on to this site for playing old classics online:
I listen to audiobooks and knit.
I’ve enjoyed a few titles from LibriVox
I heard an interesting bit with Cleese recently. And he commented that he was surprised at how people mispronounce his name. As he said, “Have you ever heard anyone ask for a piece of cheese? But he said cheese with the hard s that I’ve always used for his last name.
So now I know how to pronounce it.
Ah, yes. I loved Cook. Particularly the bit where he was a miner but thinking of becoming a judge.
And the only thing I really liked Dudley Moore in was “Bedazzled” with Cook.
And cardgames.io has lots of different card and dice games.
Yes, Cook and Moore were quite a good team.
Cook was in the SNL skit about auditioning the prisoners for Gigi. (”I’m gonna get me a shotgun and kill all the whities I seeeeee.”)
I don’t suppose anyone knows about a good flight simulator.
I download audiobooks from the library website.
Mom now has a nickle sized hole in her finger where a cancer used to be.
She’s already trying to take the bandage off. If the exposed tendon dries out that will be bad...
Ow, that sounds terrible.
Very little pain, just the Novocain sticks.
Last time she tore off the stitched on bolster and the skin graft.
This time no stitches, no graft until enough tissue regrows to attach it to, about a month.
Hopefully without the stitches and pressure bolster she can, with enough browbeating, let it heal.
Hospice care recommended a wee bit of morphine and lorazepam to get her through the night.
Meanwhile we'll follow smokingfrog's advice (sleep with one eye open (< o > ---)
Sorry to hear about your mom, Nully. It’s always tough with Dementia patients. I hope the finger heals enough that she can use it again. I’m sure she doesn’t understand anything about what happened.
What a sweet little floof.
Good morning. I hope you had a good night and that Jake let you sleep.
More rain today, even as we speak. But the groceries are coming today and its also pill-sorting day, so the morning will be slightly busy. Once I get dressed, that is.
I always thought it rhymed with cheese....But that’s just me.
