Cats have always been known for their mysterious and independent nature. They can be a source of unconditional love and comfort for their humans, but they also possess a streak of cunning and aloofness. In a recent incident, a homeowner found himself locked out of his house, with the keys safely inside. Little did he know, his feline companions held the power to either let him in or leave him stranded outside.

What a tiny floof!

Good morning. I hope you had a good night.

I’ll take the last wrapping off my foot today and see how it feels to almost walk like a real person. Tomorrow the Killer Clown Shoe will come off and I’ll be good to go. One thing at a time.

Maybe I’ll even make some bread this week! It’s certainly been on my mind!

Rain all day again. It’s either liquid snow or liquid sunshine. The high will be 43Β°. Winter in the desert.

Good morning, everyone. Happy Humph Day!

I *think* we’re at the bottom of the current temperature dip and it starts to go up tomorrow. But it wasn’t much of a dip by local standards. I can remember last year having frozen pipes one day in February because the temperatures were in the negative numbers. So it’s all good.

I thought I might inch up my Wordle score this morning because I could think of 3 words to choose. Fortunately, 2 had already won so I didn’t have to go through 3 attempts to get the right one.

Good Midweek Morning!

Lots of scrambling to get things done today... memorial services are tomorrow and Friday... with a lot more folks from out of town coming in... the flurry of activity over the past couple of weeks has been exhausting...

A lucky 2nd guess today...

I played Wordle one day last week and realized I had forgotten how to play! It took me six tries, probably 20 minutes, and I think it was harder than my very first try at it.

I’m debating whether to start doing it every day again, or whether to just fuhgeddaboudit.

Thanks! I can’t just SIT. It’s been driving me crazy the last couple of months, and now, I’m super anxious to be released by everyone, including all those in After-Care.

Let me go DO things!

It’s interesting how many game ads I see on my phone tell me that they’re good for fighting dementia or improving my cognitive skills. I suspect it’s like any other exercise. If you just keep doing one kind, that becomes fairly easy so you need to change things up.

So if you want to be able to Wordle, you should go back to it. If you just want something to exercise your brain, I suspect Wordle is just one option.

Or you could be like one of those heroes in the action movies and ignore what they’re restricting you to because you have to save the world or something.

Yeah, it reminds me of a part of a Monty Python sketch.

Interviewee: Well, he had to. I had transgressed the unwritten law.

Interviewer: What had you done?

Interviewee: Well, he didn’t tell me that But he assured me that I had and that’s good enough for me.

There is no cure for the British sense of humor. Once you have learned how it works, it becomes an addiction you never quite give up.

John Cleese and Michael Palin were absolutely the best in writing sketches. I think their entire association was nothing more than feeding off each other’s comedic genius.

It all started with Peter Cook and "Beyond The Fringe".

I get a lot of those game ads as well, but you’re right — I need to get back to playing Wordle.

Certain games exercise certain parts of your brain, and I don’t think doing one particular type is going to satisfy the brain’s needs. So yeah...Wordle, among others!
