Ow, that sounds terrible.

About 4 hours of Mohs surgery, well, maybe 10-15 minutes of actual surgery, with the rest of the time waiting for lab results, took 3 layers scraped off to get it all.

Very little pain, just the Novocain sticks.

Last time she tore off the stitched on bolster and the skin graft.

This time no stitches, no graft until enough tissue regrows to attach it to, about a month.

Hopefully without the stitches and pressure bolster she can, with enough browbeating, let it heal.

Hospice care recommended a wee bit of morphine and lorazepam to get her through the night.

Meanwhile we'll follow smokingfrog's advice (sleep with one eye open (< o > ---)
