In its first real move to try to crawl out of the crater Bud Light created by self-nuking with the Dylan Mulvaney disaster, the beer company has announced a leave of absence by its VP of marketing, Alissa Heinerscheid. In other words, they canned her … at least we think so.
Our assumption: Being fired is just choosing to identify as a leave of absence at the moment.

She managed to tank the brand in less than a year by embracing ‘inclusivity’. Her stated goal was to move away from Bud Light’s ‘fratty’ image to a brand that appealed to both men and women … so she got an endorsement from a man dressed as a woman in a bathtub.

She didn’t make this marketing decision on her own. She’s taking one for her woke team.

Neither are all Africans living in $5 million mansions as the ads repeatedly show. The ad that got me a couple of years ago was for a home security company. It showed a black homeowner in this huge mansion, while a thug was breaking and entering. The thug was a clean-shaven white dude.
The damage has already been done. At least now, maybe a huge group of people have seen that this stuff is real.
Maybe Nike will hire her and she can put Chaz Bono in blackface next to Krappydink selling their products .

Even the most dedicated employees can experience circumstances outside of work that affect their performance. These individuals remain assets to the business, but may need time away from their job to deal with personal, medical or family matters. In this way, leaves of absence are a valuable component of any HR management toolkit. They also may be required by law.
Types of leave
There are two types of leaves of absence: mandatory and voluntary.
Mandatory leave
Mandatory leave is governed at the federal level by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Under the FMLA, employees may be eligible for up to 12 workweeks1 off without pay. At the end of that time, they typically must be restored to their former position or placed in an equivalent role. Voluntary leave
