Because they are not domestic animals, Serval cats are not legal to keep as pets in many U.S. states. While some states require certain permits or inspections, others make owning Serval cats as pets completely illegal. If you are considering a pet Serval cat, you would first want to know if it is legal in your state.

Awww... Fluffy looks like our Duchess that we rescued when we lived in Hawaii. We relocated a few times, and she was a good traveler. Beautiful Maine Coon, and such a personality!
I had a chance to get a Maine Coon, years ago. I didn’t think my cats would approve. I asked why they were getting rid of it. Apparently it killed the neighbors dog.

Yep, they can be real characters.
Highly intelligent also.
They can even communicate telepathically!
But the only telepathic message Fluffy ever sent was -
"Feed me! Now!"

I turn on the MSM and watch coverage of the Bai Din administration and I see the some of the most servile cats I’ve ever seen!

Fluffy would lie motionless on the lawn - trying to feel
the vibrations of any passing burrowing mole.
When she felt one, she would jump up and start digging furiously
until she came up with the mole in her mouth.
Pretty amazing, really.

And she absolutely terrorized birds.
Climbed over twenty five feet up an oak tree to raid the nest of a mockingbird.
And mama mockingbird never forgot!
For YEARS that bird would dive bomb the cat and try to peck at her head!
Poor Fluffy had to run for cover and hide under the picnic table.
Not legal at all in my state; but we have pit bulls everywhere...

I would love to have a Savannah cat.

I called her an empath. A couple times when I had long-ish recoveries after surgeries, she never left my side. Actually, she slept between my feet.

My brother had a Savannah boy named Yoda who was very playful. He also traveled well in a car and my brother would take him with him when he came out here to visit me.
I have a snapping turtle named Fluffy. :)
I prefer the maine coon cat. Every one I’ve ever met was quite friendly.
