He is correct.
Country has gone down the crapper. Questioning the official story cost 1 billion. Fascinating turnbfrom a free country to tyranny.
Biden has made me suffer AND hurt my feelings.
Where’s my money Joe ?
10% of your ukrain haul will do.
He would have gotten in less trouble if he shot the kids himself
The local commie TV station gave this 6 full minutes. They gave zero minutes to Paypal’a attempted confiscation of customer money.
The size of the damage award is very good evidence the jury was motivated by passion and not facts, thus likely to be overturned by the trial judge or appellate court. [We in the biz call that a remittitur.]
This is a legal standard, not an opinion.
This just in: Comedians sue Alex Jones for emotional distress due to his "joke" comments. Seeking $10B in damages.
Sending a message to anyone that questions the narrative. When you hear the music... Bow down and worship or you’ll be thrown in the firey furnace... And fined a billion dollars.
No, Biden just said today he was not joking (even though he’s having a hard time remembering what he was not joking about).
The same lawyers are conducting lawfare on Alex Jones from multiple states.
And they are employing the same globaltarian “justice” system that has unconstitutionally held January 6th “insurrectionists” in solitary confiment for almost two years without bail or trial.
The lawyers have stated in the trials that money is not their goal, their goal is to deprive him of his platform and ensure that he will never have a public platform again.
The trials are a joke. He was not allowed to have a jury trial in the judgement phase. The judge “deemed” him guilty.
They said he forfeited because he did not provide discovery that proved his guilt, then they cherry picked the tons of discovery he provided for “evidence” in the trial.
They want it both ways.
They want to say he forfeited because he didn’t provide discovery, then they use the documents he provided as “evidence” in the trial.
The jury trials are just show trials to determine how much he owes.
The judge told the jury he is guilty and presented “experts” who said, without evidence, that Jones is richer than George Soros.
Love or hate Alex Jones, this should scare the cheezy puffs out of anybody with two brain cells in a row.
Alex Jones was the test case for cancelling people from social media.
This is the test case for suing anyone into oblivion who says anything that contradicts the globaltarian narrative.
Sneer all you want at Alex Jones, you are next on the menu.
Usually, they pick the morons to sit on the juries. Where the hell do these lunatics idiots think this guy is going to get a billion dollars? I don’t know much about him because I’ve never paid any attention to him. Never even heard him talk but I do know one thing, he doesn’t have a billion dollars. Only the retards on the “jury” would think that he does.
He was the canary in the coal mine as far as banning people from social media platforms and app stores.
thanks for reminding me about Paypal. I’ll delete my account tonight..
Actually defaming people did. He did not “question the official story” - he made statements of fact which were clearly defamatory to private citizens. That is indeed the tort of defamation which has been around long before either of us were alive.
No. Just sue the jury for an obvious garbage amount.
Jones should let a lawyer do the talking and keep his mouth shut. He’s a buffoon and will just make matters worse. He needs to focus on an effective appeal of this ridiculous suit.
Did he question it, or did he ridicule anyone else who questions the official story?
+1
Well, just avoid engaging in the tort of defamation against private citizens and you can’t be sued for defamation. It is an understatement to say the comments were outrageous and sick. Defamation has been a tort for a long time. Any person with two brain cells would never have said what he said. Nor would any person with such defend such statements. “Money” is not the goal - it a punishment. The fact you don’t understand something that basic should prompt you to do some very basic research before forming strong opinions about a subject for which you have apparently no knowledge. I would not accept $1 billion in exchange for what these people were put through by Alex Jones - no person in their right mind would.
The verdict may be excessive but that’s a different matter. He is definitely liable.
