Alex Jones of InfoWars reacted to the $965 million he has been ordered to pay to Sandy Hook families.
"They think they can break your will, they can't break your will," said Jones before the announcement.
"They make these lies with all this money we've got. It's all just delusional leftist crap. Like that two men can have a baby. The same cult that wants to cut your son's balls off," said Jones.
Upon the announcement that Jones owed plaintiff Robbie Parker $120 million, Jones pumped his fist and yelled, "Yeah! Woo!"
Jones noted that he is paying money to families whose names he never said and that he doesn't know "who they are," calling the whole ordeal "hilarious."
"Get those numbers up!... C'mon, we need more than that!" Jones said.
Jones called the verdict a "political joke," and said, "They actually believe they're getting this money. It's like they believe all their own stuff." Jones also said he would be "disappointed" if the figure did not reach a billion dollars, and compared the amounts to "getting blood out of a stone."

They said he forfeited because he did not provide discovery that proved his guilt, then they cherry picked the tons of discovery he provided for “evidence” in the trial.
They want it both ways.

The jury trials are just show trials to determine how much he owes.
The judge told the jury he is guilty and presented “experts” who said, without evidence, that Jones is richer than George Soros.

Actually defaming people did. He did not “question the official story” - he made statements of fact which were clearly defamatory to private citizens. That is indeed the tort of defamation which has been around long before either of us were alive.

Jones should let a lawyer do the talking and keep his mouth shut. He’s a buffoon and will just make matters worse. He needs to focus on an effective appeal of this ridiculous suit.

Well, just avoid engaging in the tort of defamation against private citizens and you can’t be sued for defamation. It is an understatement to say the comments were outrageous and sick. Defamation has been a tort for a long time. Any person with two brain cells would never have said what he said. Nor would any person with such defend such statements. “Money” is not the goal - it a punishment. The fact you don’t understand something that basic should prompt you to do some very basic research before forming strong opinions about a subject for which you have apparently no knowledge. I would not accept $1 billion in exchange for what these people were put through by Alex Jones - no person in their right mind would.
The verdict may be excessive but that’s a different matter. He is definitely liable.
