Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov emphasized on Friday at a conference that it is not in Moscow's interest to have an open conflict with the United States or the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
Ryabkov expressed concerns over Russia's current relations with the two, stating that they are "near-zero levels." He shared that "America is incapable of negotiating in principle and, together with a number of NATO capitals, is directly pushing Kiev to transfer military operations to our territory, intending to fight to the last Ukrainian" so as to impose "a strategic defeat" on Russia.
He further underscored that Moscow is not threatening anyone with nuclear attacks, but is rather warning of risks of interfearance in its military operation in Ukraine. "The US deliberately lowers the nuclear threshold, creating a threat to the national security of Russia," Ryabkov stated.

Yes, but who was there first?
Libya.
most of the southwest of the country.
Yes, that is the neocons wet dream, arms manufacturers too.
World of difference.
Russia invades countries to steal their resources and annex their lands. And they bomb civilian residences and civilian infrastructure in the process, and kill many citizens in the areas they capture.
The US doesn't seek to annex any areas or take their resources, even when we ought to because the wars cost us money. We invade because a state has become a terror sponsor like Afghanistan or because they invaded another country like Iraq did Kuwait.
Then how did we get New Mexico?
So Jon are you signing up to go in with the other Russian reservists ?
Seems like the right thing for you to do.
LOL, that was recent? Okay
Ukrainians, look up kozaks.
Oh hell no. I support peace. Please join me.
“Why has NATO Expansion has increased since the fall of the Soviet Union?”
Because former Russian satellites know what it was like living under the Russian boot, and do not want to live through it again. And they don’t trust Russia. So, they joined NATO for protection.
Recent enough.
Again, this according to Tucker Carlson's monologue from last nights show.
Russia is just waiting for Biden and the Dems to bring down the USA economy without any action. The Russians have become close operatives with China and China has funded the Dems and the Biden Crime family to bring down the USA economy. That will lead to the collapse of the American Dollar so China can take over the World’s Reserve Currency. China must have control of the WRC to fulfill their World Domination and Russia has their backdoor.
Nonsense. World changed after WW2, conquest for imperial expansion is criminal and dangerous, especially when nuclear weapons are involved.
I understand but giving the Mujahadeen stingers is a bb gun compared to what we are doing now, we are probably north of 50 billion and counting going to Ukraine with promises of continued support.
Back then the stingers were given to the Mujahadeen in secret, we didn’t a POTUS calling for regime change in Russia
Using your NATO expansion argument, the Luhansk, Kherson, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions are holding safe and secure elections to join Russia for protection from NATO, Washington and London.
Yes, and they think that this strategy of supplying Ukraine with weapons, but not sending any troops is going to be successful. In the meantime, the people and property of Ukraine is being destroyed.
There are two countries that are all in for war, and it looks like they will take it to the bitter end. For the US and NATO to think they can finesse their way on this is foolish. They don't care about Ukraine or it's people. They are being used to accomplish what they won't do on their own- destroy Russia.
^^^^^^Everyone, please read^^^^^^
The Russian inner circle is beginning to distance themselves from Putin, and are trying to signal to the West that they will not support an escalation of hostilities beyond Ukraine.
