American supermarkets continue to suffer shortages of food and other commodities as the supply chain crisis worsens thanks to new global lockdowns due to the omicron variant of the COVID-19 virus, despite the fact that it isn’t serious.
Still, as workers get sick from the new strain, productivity has suffered and now, because Joe Biden’s hapless regime has done little to nothing to get the supply chain back up and running, any little disruption becomes a big deal.
The Los Angeles Times reports:
The highly contagious Omicron coronavirus variant is disrupting already stressed food supply chains, sickening so many workers that more shortages at grocery stores are all but certain.
Supermarkets have been struggling to keep food fully stocked throughout the pandemic as a result of labor shortfalls in every part of the food system, including farms, manufacturers and distributors. Now Omicron is bringing the problem to a new level. The variant is raging across the U.S. and raising health concerns that many thought vaccines had put to rest. Schools and day cares are seeing closures again, keeping more Americans from work.
Combined, all of those things are going to lead to higher wages as businesses try to attract enough workers, which in turn will result in higher prices for goods, worsening Biden’s inflation.
“We’re already seeing bare shelves,” Bindiya Vakil, chief executive of supply-chain consultant Resilinc Corp., told the Times. “Labor shortages due to omicron are going to exacerbate the issue.”

I got a 4 lb rotisserie chicken at Sam’s Club yesterday for $4.95 there’s still three lbs of it left my dog is ecstatic she will be eating chicken and kibble for a few days now.
Has been hard to find canned cat food, cream, butter, onions, potatoes, coffee for months and is getting worse. When I find our brands I buy in bulk. I freeze the cream and butter.

Most likely this is the reason why Aldi’s more lately has been out of Black Forrest ham, one pound packages, one of the most economically priced thinly sliced and delicious ham. Call it the Biden effect, engineered by these gooks currently in power in the Disrict of Corruption to drag the economy down. Just like higher gas prices along with everything else. Including Covid-19 shots forced on to the public but don’t work as they neither protect you from catching the virus or from spreading it. The only thing they may do is protect you from the worst possible outcome and for this there are other safer alternate methods available, but kept hidden from the public.
Such as Ivermectin, HCQ (hydroxychloroquine-sulfate) Quercetin, Zinc, C, Melatonin, NAC (N-Acetyl-Cysteine) Lysine, D-3 Just couldn’t resist passing it along.
I mist live in a blessed area. I have been to three major grocery stores in the last three days and all were well stocked with almost everything.
I did notice there was not quite as much juices but everything else was well stocked.
But the prices were up-up-UP!
I just went to Wal Mart and didn't see any empty shelves. Everything was available that was on my shopping list. It was a pretty extensive list at that, covering all major commodities.

I bet there are worsening supply chain problems but it is hard to take a story about bare shelves seriously when it comes from a site named “Starvation.news”
Along with a few dove or quail breasts or cottontail filets.

Speaking of toilet paper..... that and paper towels were the only thing in short supply at the local Sam’s Club about an hour ago. Plenty of beef, fish, chicken, frozen stuff, and Spam.
