The problem when cooking bacon is that it heats up too fast. The result is that it can often be quite brittle and lacking in flavor. The best way to resolve this problem is to SLOOOOOW cook the bacon in water as you can see in this video. The result is not only bacon in which the flavor is highlighted but with a great texture. Once you try this water method of cooking bacon you won't go back to your old way of cooking bacon again.
And you can drink the water when you’re done! (Crispy bacon is bacon wasted. It needs to be a bit . . . flabby.)
Wow i do this with sausage. Actually in the pan right now.
I like to cook dried beans with bacon. if i’m feeling decadent, I’ll throw in some black jack molasses when they’re done.

started doing that a couple of months ago, wonderful texture.
I will take brittle bacon over no bacon.
set oven to 375
put bacon on a cookie sheet (with sides)
cook to desired crispness
best way to cook bacon ( and the grease can be poured into a tupperware container and refrigerated for later use )

Is there anything wrong with wrapping bacon on a machine gun muzzle and firing for about 30 seconds?
When’s lunch?
I tried water cooking bacon a few times. It is crispier but has a more burnt flavor.

Don't over cook it then.
Yup! Everybody should try this method and I guarantee most would continue using it.
Maybe you should check your water. I've been doing this quite a bit for the past month and NOT ONCE has my bacon had a burnt flavor. Orrrrr.... Maybe you should check your bacon.
Does the method work for frogs too? :)
Mrs. R2 bakes bacon. In the oven.
Dee-licious.
1) Cook bacon the regular way in the fry pan, paying attention to take it out before it gets too crisp
2) Cook eggs in the bacon fat, set aside
3) Take baked potato from last night, slice, and fry in bacon fat. It will soak up the fat.
