set oven to 375
put bacon on a cookie sheet (with sides)
cook to desired crispness
best way to cook bacon ( and the grease can be poured into a tupperware container and refrigerated for later use )
Is there anything wrong with wrapping bacon on a machine gun muzzle and firing for about 30 seconds?
I do it on a cookie sheet on the grill
Better yet is half a pound of strips separated on a ridged made-to-be-nicrowaved platter for 6 minutes, grease flowing to the low end afterward. Pick up with tongs and cut with kitchen scissors into lettuce/mashed-potato salad with Vidalia chips and malt vinegar/honey moistening , topped with Taco-blend shredded cheese. Toss and, Mmmmmhh!
That is exactly how we do it — cookie sheet in the oven and save the grease.
(If you line the cookie sheet with parchment paper, cleanup is a breeze.)
This is literally the only useful thing I’ve ever learned from Rachel Ray.
I do mine similarly but with a baking rack above the pan for drainage.
