A Colorado Mayor unilaterally banned the Pledge of Allegiance at city meetings. In an immediate show of defiance, members of the public and the Board of Trustees almost immediately stood and recited it anyhow as the Mayor threatened to call everyone out of order.
Mayor Shane Fuhrman made this decision without approval from the Board. The elected officials previously discussed and rejected the idea but the Mayor pushed his anti-Pledge agenda anyhow.

President Trump and Barr brought it up early on. A shot across the bow for state legislatures. Not I my did they not do anything, in most cases they conspired with the Left.

Of course a new product called “Ben Gay” couldn’t be brought to market today. Do you remember the slimming product Ayds? (I loved those chewy, chocolatey little cubes! I could eat half a box at one sitting, easy.) When Aids became all the rage, the company was flummoxed. “It was our name first! Let them change the name of the disease!”) Of course it didn’t help that Aids was much more slimming than Ayds. The company was sold and the product was eventually pulled from the market.
