Carjacking is a dangerous proposition … just ask this man who got trampled by a pissed-off driver, and it’s all on video.
The attempted carjacking went down last year but started trending this morning because the video was released for public use yesterday. In the video you see a black man trying to stop a car by standing in the middle of the road as he pulls out a gun.
The would-be carjacker receives instant karma as the driver of the car hits the gas and sent him flying down the street.
The moment of impact did some heavy damage to the man, as two people come to his aid immediately, and people allege that they also wanted to aid the robber. The car driver must’ve been seriously pissed of or scared?
Ya gotta see the video … it’s better than anything you’ve done in GTA.
The video was allegedly filmed in Florida.
Video below:
Play stupid games. Win stupid prizes. Karma at its finest.
This is an act of self-defense from the driver. The man entered the street with a gun with the intent to rob the driver of their vehicle, the driver could’ve been scared for their lives and decided to act in self-defense to that individual’s hostile intentions.
Note that there were three of them, two on the opposite side and then the action man who is as much a distraction from the other two as the point of the spear. This is consistent, usually, carjackings are a team of two to three.
Nicely done by the driver.
Nice to know that some people still know how to handle a threat.
Don't know about that, his face got a pretty big kiss from that concrete sidewalk. He fell head over heels with it!
Nicely done by the driver.

Yes, it was. I find it odd that the two men walking on the opposite sidewalk were not remarked by any of you about how fast they reacted to the Defensive Hit and Run. Literally, within a second they were crossing the street to assist the crime perp. Those two men were the other involved people.
Poor form on that half-gainer - 2 points.
Agreed. Those two were apparent accomplices, shadowing the perp down the opposite side of the road. If the driver had swerved, they were probably going to jump in front of the car with a gun on that side.
My wife asked “Couldn’t the driver have swerved around him?”, and I said “NO! He would have gotten shot as he passed. The only safe thing is to stop the shooter.”
.................................................
This is not meant to be a personal criticism of your wife, but I have to make the point that her empathy-based thinking here is EXACTLY why I am unalterably opposed to women having any role whatsoever in either law enforcement, the military, the judiciary, or any elective office at any level of government. And any criticism of my thinking in this regard is absolutely a fruitless waste of time.
I doubt that. The date stamp says October. Trees in Florida would still have their leaves.
Heh. Head over heals. Yep. :)
Well, I would have given him 2 points more if the guy had hit the tree...but I did like the way he swerved into the perp to run him over...too bad we didn’t have sound, or not that I heard, I’d have to deduct points if he honked his horn...
So I give him 6 points.
He should’ve just ran over his toe; no need to hit him full on and throw him onto the sidewalk! The driver failed to de-escalate the situation and he’s in a heap a trouble now, boy. Will probably be charged with a hate crime. And he didn’t even have the decency to damage his car by hitting a tree!
I’ll let you decide which part, if any, is sarcasm.
Always attack an ambush.
Yes, those guys had to be in on it. I know that if I saw a guy standing in the street attempting a hijacking, I would not “render aid” unless I was one of his homies.
Well, the statute of limitations is long past so let's just say that I never looked back...
Curiously, I have the tagline for 1978’s Superman running in my head:
“You’ll Believe A Man Can Fly”
The way that happened you could almost envision the perp bouncing off the tree, back on to the roadway, hit by the car a second time and knocked back into the tree second time. Kind of like a bumper shot in pinball. Now that would have been a ten-pointer.
