Mike Pence: (02:42) And as our election contest continues, I’ll make you a promise. We’re going to keep fighting until every legal vote is counted. We’re going to keep fighting until every illegal vote is thrown out. we’re going to win Georgia, we’re going to save America and we’ll never stop fighting to make America great again. You watch.

I trusted Flynn because I had read his book, “The Field of Fight” in the run up to the election 2016. I knew Flynn was a man of highest character!
Pence, an avowed Evangelical Christian who wore his piety on his sleeve thus creating skepticism of his sincerity, became a suspect to a crime. But we had no proof of anything in January 2017.
Now there is.
You have never been more wrong. The electoral system is fine.
The problem lies on the local state level, with unelected and usually crony-appointed officials making up election rules contrary to state law that the state legislators can’t or won’t immediately address, resulting in a electoral crisis and an abdication of legislative authority to represent the people of their state.
The solution, is to replace those state legislators with those willing to work for the people no matter how sticky the issue or number of toes to step on. Even if it means a one-term term. Rather than consider being elected is the people granting royalty status and an elite lifestyle of imagined privilege, as too many politicians believe.
One thing I learned in my professional life is that you should ignore anything a politician says at a convention or conference. They know elwhat any given audience wants to hear, and they just say that.
As I tell my family, anyone can read a speech that someone else wrote.
It would have called attention to the election fraud. But, Pence didn't want to because his loyalty lies with the Republican establishment. That makes him unfit for a Presidential run.
No, they weren’t. They’ll just say they were ... in a desperate attempt to keep Trump’s base on their side.
The media that controls DC and the republicrats is fanning the flames, but people need to be honest with themselves and one another.
I am not really a Pence guy, but I feel like this place has turned into a pile-on when the steal was sealed long before yesterday.
Pence was supposed to twist himself into some parliamentarian pretzel on which even the Trump legal team did not fully agree and single-handily change the election in a congress that would not act and had already said they would certify the votes submitted by the states?
At what point do people admit the man was like a FG kicker facing a 70yd kick with 3 seconds left on the clock? Does not the entire team for the 4 quarters prior to that moment deserve some blame?
Could he have objected under the constitution? Maybe, but that has not really been how the process works and it is not as clear as some have made it out to be.
If you want to assign blame look no further than the republicrat legislatures in the contested states.
The constitution is clear. They were the ones who had legal authority to investigate and throw out invalid votes or correct the vote. They did not.
I almost wish that Trump had not filed lawsuits. They went nowhere and in hindsight all of the people with the constitutional responsibility simply kicked the can and pointed to the legal cases. The courts were not hearing them. Period. The courts simply ran out the clock and here we are.
1. Who’s ‘We’? Trump’s team certainly didn’t lose 65 cases. They only brought 3 or 4, less than 10.
2. You and others (including Pence) keep saying ‘constitutional norms’ but I don’t understand why it is not understood that if you KNOW that the electors were ILLEGALLY certified based on demonstrable Dead, Out-of-State, UnderAge votes, how is that NOT violating constitutional norms?
Someone needs to get this to Bannon’s War Room for tomorrow’s Cold Open
I think some would have done nothing and sent nothing.
Pence is out of the family business.....
Agree.
I thought of that too, in watching Pence address the youth... they could not have had a finer introduction to politics than that backstabbing that Pence demonstrated for them.
Should make future events all the more interesting ?
For some, feigned ignorance is a guile-less lie ?
Someone over at Parlor had an interesting theory. That Pence certified knowing the steal would be exposed eventually so he had to go along with the electoral college so when the truth comes out on the election fraud they can be legally charged with SEDITION!!! Everyone found with their hands in the cookie jar will do serious time. Thinks he’s working with Trump. I found it interesting
Pence is a good man. I gather that is an unpopular opinion right now. But I believe it.
What things look like can often turn out to be wrong. Flynn looked to most like a neer-do-well for quite some time, and now, instead, the name Sullivan is reviled by the clear thinking, as almost the antithesis of what he pretends to represent.
Still, I think much of what I wrote is pretty solid:
But, I don’t think there has EVER been a more crystalizing moment in American politics: not one in which the choices available were as clear, or where the choices made so clearly diverge from the rhetoric, and thus define the flawed character of the speaker, or the actor, as in that one moment, words and deeds were seen paired in distinct black and white contrast in the events following. The rest of the history, is yet to be written... and perhaps it is still too soon to judge, but so far, its looking like:
Fill in the rest yourself ?
That may be, but he won’t run and win as a Republican, ever. Not if we don’t forget and continue to remind voters of who and what he is.
he is not a good man....go research his emails back and forth with Paul ryan about how they could get rid of Trump on the ticket....
