In May we reported on our concerns with contact tracing and our loss of freedom as a result of this practice. We reported that contact tracers will track you and tell you what you can and cannot do. You will be a puppet of the state. You must do what they say for the greater good. Freedom will be lost forever.
We reported that Democrat states were promoting the idea of “contact tracing” and when you realize what it is, you will think you are living in Orwell’s 1984.
Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot cheered the news that Chicago was hiring 600 tracers to track its citizens using the coronavirus as the excuse. We then shared an excellent video (which has now been taken down by YouTube) that explained the madness behind contact tracing. In the video the following points were made:
1. Of course John Hopkins offers contact tracer training (connected to the scary overboard coronavirus chart)
2. Based on you coming in contact with a person who has COVID-19 you will be placed in total isolation for 10 days
3. If you have no way of not sharing a bathroom you will need to be isolated
4. If you are quarantined you will be isolated for 14 days 5. Contact tracer will take care of your kids but you cannot leave your house
6. If you eat at a restaurant and someone was found with COVID you will be quarantined
7. Big government will video conference you and review your place to make sure you are isolated
8. If you get it your family will have to be quarantined for 14 days and completely isolated
9. If you were on a train, at work or in a restaurant then everyone near you will have...

Quarantine the sick, protect the vulnerable, everybody else be careful. This IS worse than the normal flu but it isn’t the black death.
The US has done contact tracing for decades for various diseases and it’s nothing like what’s described in the article. There are a bunch of different CDC resources and guidelines for how to do it. Basically, if you test positive, a contact tracer will ask if you’ve had any recent extended contact with persons outside your household (for example, if you attended a party at someone’s house or hung out with a friend). If you choose to provide contact information for individuals, they’ll contact them and tell them they’ve been exposed to someone (they can’t say who) who tested positive. As a result, it’s recommended they get tested as soon as possible and isolate themselves for a few days while monitoring for symptoms.

And here’s what they say about what happens if someone who tests positive says they were hanging out with you: “Contacts are provided with education, information, and support to understand their risk, what they should do to separate themselves from others who are not exposed, monitor themselves for illness, and the possibility that they could spread the infection to others even if they themselves do not feel ill.”
Nothing in there about locking people up or tracking peoples’ movements or any of the rest of this conspiracy theory nonsense.

This is what is done in an epidemic. It was done decades ago and people were legally and forcefully quarantined in their homes. It isn’t the end of the world.
Without doubt this whole thing is being handled for political gain but even in flu outbreaks people don’t attend rallies and die like Herman Cain did. Attended the rally on June 20, sick less than two weeks later and then dead in four weeks.
Same goes for the current rise in infections, July 4 and then the riots and shortly after a huge increase in sick people and then deaths. Not what happens with the flu. This isn’t the flu.

Actually they’ve used it for every major epidemic or feared was going to be major epidemic since we figured out germ theory. So really I should 150 years.
OK, so we have this crazy, intrusive way of keeping all sorts of people from kicking up trouble for the state, and in the meantime, we don’t have ready access to HCQ for early-stage cases. Oooooooo-K.
Sooooooo, will they be able to tell when I break quarantine if I leave home without my cellphone, and I don’t wear my Garmin watch when going on a run? It’s not as likely I would pass it on to somebody outdoors, as long as I kept my distance, anyhow.
Don’t worry, if I’m asked to quarantine, I won’t go to a restaurant or grocery store, since I already have some extra food tucked away, and I can send my cat off to board at the vets for the time being. But please don’t expect me NOT to get out into the sunshine from time to time, unless I develop actual symptoms.

People just spreading fear with this absolute nonsense. I get why the left wants to spread fear: they want to beat Trump. I get why the MSM spreads fear: because fear brings in more money and they hate Trump.
But why are some people on the right so bent on scaring people with misinformation?
