He makes his living talking about local foods and going to odd little restaurants and places to eat.
I know plenty of native Texans who say “New Braunsfel” instead of “New Braunfels,” including my MIL. It’s like a mental block or something.
It is like the many people who say “asterix” instead of asterisk.
However true that might be, Braunfels is not an English word. But I know what you mean.
My wife does not like it when I laugh at her when she pronounces it bronze fulls.
And weve lived within a half an hour of New Braunfels for the last 50 years.
BTTT. I love me some Buc-cees. Great place.
If you have not been to a Buc-ees gas station you are missing out. Hell, it’s worth the trip to Texas just to go to one.
