Been feeding the cute little squirrel out back..... I named him "Scratchie"

Love it. I had a little buddy ground squirrel at a previous work site that knew the sound of my van meant trail mix was coming LOL.

Didn’t have the heart to tell him I’d eaten several of his tree-borne cousins with biscuits and gravy.

Be careful though because getting scratched has caused people to get seriously infected. You should wear gloves if you insist on hand feeding them. Keep in mind that squirrels are members of the family Sciuridae, a family that includes small or medium-size rodents. 8>)

I love squirrels. I do think they are cute.

We have no squirrels here where I live (Phx) although there a few in some outlying areas. But not around here at my heart of the city area. I really miss seeing them hop and climb and sit in that cute little way with their little paws kind of together in that little squirrel way.

Mrs Submareener started feeding a squirrel when we were in Syracuse. We went away for a weekend and he chewed through the plastic screen to get to his food bag. Had to put in metal screening. Good luck!
