Sorry, I just had to get that off my chest.

I see the “armed guards” qualifying at the range.
Not sure I’d feel safer.....

I refuse to enter a gun free zone...unless...there is a(n) armed guard. Think about that a little more.
China is a gun-free zone with armed guards. As was the Soviet Union, Nazi Germany . . .

In Israel nobody will eat in a restaurant that does not have an armed guard posted at the door.

Gun free zones should be explicitly and legally responsible for the safety of their visitors.
To: SkyDancer
It’s scary that liberals are stupid enough to believe that really works, too.

That’s the ticket ... all they can do is ask you to leave. If you are “showing” it, then you deserve to get kicked out or caught. It is called CCW for a reason. I wear have it everywhere except where a metal detector is used. And I simply avoid those places, period.

Sorry, I just had to get that off my chest.Don't blame you. Hubby and I been known to change dinner, hotel and shopping plans for years due to one little sign on the entrance. No need to risk our lives when we are assured the right to self and family preservation.

All high schoolers should say this. Their parents should back them up. Problem solved. Stop sending your kids into gun free zones.
(Same with the parents of little kids of course but dont scare the kids. )

I wear have it everywhere except where a metal detector is used. And I simply avoid those places, period. That's my philosophy as well. As a female I've got the nice CCW purses. Pouches are hidden and no one thinks twice about a Granny with a big heavy purse. My husband is a bit more respectful of signs but we refuse to eat, sleep or spend money at those fascist places that don't care about our taking care of ourselves.

We ignore all gun free signs. If you see us somewhere we are carrying. If they ever ask us to leave fine we will.

Agreed. If I’m there, it is not a gun free zone, regardless of signs or state or local laws. Keep it concealed...but keep it. One person’s right to be a mentally diseased liberal does not negate my constitutional right to protect myself and those I love. Truly, it is better to have a gun and not need it than it is to need a gun and not have it.

Nah, you can’t have a purse ... CNN says gals don’t have a way to carry because of dresses! You just aren’t paying attention to the news. :-) I’m 76. I’ve got a over the shoulder “man bag”. I keep my Kindle, a few meds and my 18 round 9 mm and 2 spare clips. Decked out with Crimson Trace, and a light. Always tickles me to be sitting there on the bench reading (while the wife is shopping) and watching the gangbanger walking by sort of “sneering” at that old guy on the bench. (An old guy with more firepower than all of them together in the mall).
