I see the “armed guards” qualifying at the range.
Not sure I’d feel safer.....
Think about that a little more.
China is a gun-free zone with armed guards. As was the Soviet Union, Nazi Germany . . .
People I know in Oregon who have CCW ignore those signs unless there is a metal detector
Really? Well here ya go.
Deputy Scot Peterson at your service..
In Israel nobody will eat in a restaurant that does not have an armed guard posted at the door.
If Scot Peterson is your armed guard, then you stand a shot at living...
Don't blame you. Hubby and I been known to change dinner, hotel and shopping plans for years due to one little sign on the entrance. No need to risk our lives when we are assured the right to self and family preservation.
All high schoolers should say this. Their parents should back them up. Problem solved. Stop sending your kids into gun free zones.
(Same with the parents of little kids of course but dont scare the kids. )
If someone wants into an anti gun zone with an armed guard, the first likely unsuspecting person to be mowed down is the armed guard. It’s sitting ducks after that.
Won't violate those specifically mentioned in the restrictions area fro my carry permit:
Police, sheriff or highway patrol station
Prisons or jails
Courtrooms where court is in session (the rest of the courthouse is OK)
Any location prohibited by federal statute
Any place of nuisance as defined in Section 95-3-1
Because I don't want anyone to have a "reason" to violate my general rights. Notice that schools aren't on the restricted list for MS "Enhanced" carry folks. I would still tread carefully here though.
Have been in a number of places with the little "We don't want them nasty guns in here" signs but they never knew/know.
Like I told my granddaughter, who asked when she saw my weapon on my hip during a fishing excursion, "Pop-Pop, are you a cop?" "No Sweetie, I'm your protector." To which she smiled and never mentioned it again - all without being scarred for life or otherwise traumatized.
