The news on Donald Trump and veterans hasn’t been very flattering this week, but recent Morning Consult surveys show that members of the military and their families largely back the presumptive GOP nominee in the race for the White House.
Almost half of veterans and voters who belong to veteran households (47 percent) picked Donald Trump as their presidential nominee in surveys taken from May 13 through May 24. Of the 1,668 military voters polled, only 38 percent support former Secretary of State and first lady Hillary Clinton, the likely Democratic nominee. Fourteen percent of military voters remain undecided....

38% supporting Hillary is 62% supporting Trump.
I don't think that it was obama, I think that it was the liberal takeover of our schools. obama hasn't really been there long enough, the demonazi educators have been in position at least a generation.
Veterans not people currently serving and that is about right.

True. But anyone that took up a firearm in defense of this country should be smart enough to know what a terrible, despicable, anti-military person Hillary Clinton is. What she did to the families of the fallen in Benghazi is inexcusable --- lying to their faces. Disgraceful.
This doesn’t surprise me. Anyone aligned with conservative or traditional institutions will gravitate toward him.
Although ambivalent about Trump, I took one look at his opponents’ supporters & knew what side to take. No way in hell can these kind of people run a country, let alone defend it.

Clinton’s internal polling must be the same, as I see a ton of shills posting in various comment sections of web-sites attacking Trump because he did not pay taxes for a couple years in the 70’s, and the straw-man argument is that Trump does not support our troops or vets because he didn’t pay taxes, therefore is not a patriot
It’s a pretty lame attempt and a long reach, but for the past maybe 10 days, I’ve seen that argument being pitched (usually to no response, on an unrelated top to the pitch) only to be ignored, but then posted again a half hour or so later.
No one seems to be biting, but it just keeps popping up. Figured it must be paid agitators. These numbers substantiate the reason.
I gues the 38% never heard of Benghazi.
So, 38% of the military are looking to protect the status quo.
