You may have noticed that things are starting to get crazy. Financial markets are imploding, violent crime rates are soaring in our major cities, and we have witnessed a truly unusual series of natural disasters in recent months. War in the Middle East continues to rage out of control, and Islamic terror continues to spread all over the globe. And many believe that 2016 is going to be a year of political shaking, civil unrest, governmental crackdowns and great economic chaos in the United States. All it is going to take to plunge our society into full-blown panic mode is a major "trigger event" of some sort. Another 9/11, a new âLehman Brothersâ moment, a massive EMP burst from the sun or a historic seismic event are all examples of what this "trigger event" could look like.
So are you ready for what is about to happen to America? In previous articles, I have urged my readers to focus on the five basics â food, water, shelter, energy and self-defense. If you focus on those five things, you will probably be in pretty good shape during any major disaster or emergency.
In this article, I want to dig a little deeper and give people some more specific tips regarding what they can do to prepare for the times that we are now entering. The following are 70 tips that will help you survive what is going to happen to Americaâ¦

I don’t have several years of food, but I have some, Dried beans and rice and canned spam and sardines and things aren’t too expensive and with a supply of water, you could last a good while.
This world is doomed no matter how you prepare, Best to get yourself ready for the next world. Come to Jesus while there is still time.
I loved wilderness and survival camping, years ago, I will not be unhappy, just challenged.
I try not to let the evil around me affect me since I can not effect it in any way.
You could never make it this far if the SHTF but you have friends here who would help you!
I’m not so sure I want to survive, at my age.

Kosher salt is what I store.
It does not contain iodine.
Post of the Year!
The Rapture will happen between now and the late fall of 2017. See you in the clouds, m’Lady, and I won’t be using canes!
You need iodine in your diet so store iodized salt for cooking too. Unless you are near water for iodine from fresh fish???
I feel the American Spring and Heat of the summer will not get us that far...I thought 2016 to be very difficult even before the election(IF). I will hope you are correct and I have another year. I am prepared to defend myself but I want to never have to do it!
Sometimes a nice soft cloud would make a nice bed!
I hope I have earned a place there.
It is a gift of God, the Grace of God in believing in Jesus as the One Whom God sent for our spiritual salvation. Just believe in Him and He will be bringing you up into the clouds to meet Him in the air. See you in the clouds ...
Canes are part of your life?
That must be hard if a hilly part of TN.
I am in the flat shoreline of FL. east coast.
I have a friend with a walker, but we make it out to eat once in a while.
For those who drive, put a few small things into your vehicle to help you get to where you need to be to survive if a crisis hits while you are out and about:
1 can fix-a-flat (fast way to fix most flats) and/or tire puncture patch kit
1 Leatherman multi-tool
1 roll duct tape and 1 pack of chewing gum (can seal a punctured fuel tank)
1 set of JB Weld (many parts can be cold-welded back together long-enuf to reach a destination)
Channel-lock vise grips
1 gallon of drinking water
4 cans of beanie-weenies
1 road flare
Caltrops (useful to stop a pursuer)
Box of matches or cigarette lighter
Mylar blanket
Hand-cranked LED flashlight
Spare fuses & jumper cables
“Spare Fuel” http://sparefuel.net/buy-now/
The above won’t take up much space. Won’t cost you too much $. It will give you an edge, though. Can solve *many* roadside problems.
I have thought through all that list and just think I will have to shelter in place.
I have go-pack but realized I needed a go-back-pack in case I was across the river when the SHTF. Inflatable raft, flippers, paddle and life jacket for myself and dog( matching yellow) since he might be with me...water, food, clothing change, and emergency backpack to complete the hike to home base.
It is amazing what you think of when the food plans and safe area are secured. 900 miles from family who would be prepared too.
Your ideas for the car seem well thought out and some things I did not know were interesting to read about, Thanks!
That map is too vague to tell you anything. I don’t have any links for you, but the best thing to do is look at population density and race. The fewer people the better, and statistically the higher the percentage of African-Americans the higher the crime rate.
Generally most places East of the Mississippi don’t look promising.
You mean Hillary or the OTHER communist.
Tattler reusable canning lids.
Well I did not win the Powerball tonight so guess I have to go tell the FReepathon to keep going. I won’t be donating the balance! LOL
