My allegiance to this country is gone, and I used to be so highly patriotic. Its a very sad day. Let the chinese or russians have it, my allegiance is to God, I am done with trying to change this liberal godless cancer of a country.
We can send good men and women to corrupted institutions into eternity and it will not make a difference.
As long as it is not in the personal interest of reps and senators to serve the greater good, but rather to serve their personal wealth and power appetites, our headlong dive into tyranny will continue.

I disagree. Obama is the most dangerous threat America has faced in our history, as I have said for seven years. Obama's government is not worth anything. However, our country is well worth saving - worth dying for. That choice may come in real life sooner than we think, and the only question should be whether it will make a difference.
One possible way to fight back is to sort of go negative Galt.
Quit your job sign up for welfare. Refuse to do anything to fund the government.
Alternately donate enough of your income to charities and structure your assets that you owe absolutely no income tax.

Repeatedly, I see polls which tell me 'America thinks this' or 'America approves of that by a small majority, and I am reminded that the Media is in on this.
Recall, the Bolsheviks, who called themselves "The Majority Party". Say it often enough and people will believe it.
When people think the majority believe a certain thing, they will reexamine their own beliefs, and often alter them because they have been conditioned to believe the majority is right.
I have often seen that not to be the case, and on occasions have been the only one right. It is a difficult place to be, and the small accolades granted grudgingly by those you (or events) finally convinced, if given at all (usually, your worst detractors will take credit for what you fought to convince them of), do little to salve the wounds of bitter combat in order to prevail.
Handle it. It is amazing what you can accomplish if you don't care who gets the credit.
The modern Bolsheviks share more than philosophy with their historical counterparts, though, they share a dumbed down increasingly peasant populace, the means of disseminating information, and back-alley tactics used everywhere from back-alleys to courtrooms to destroy their 'enemies' (That'd be us).
They have no problem cooking the numbers in a poll, lying through their teeth, polishing up the official narrative on an event, or spewing so many conflicting versions people give up on any truth. They are the masters at running whole populations around in dizzying mental circles (with extra credit for panic), ever evading crucial issues like an electron circling an atomic nucleus, never to hit it head-on.
Thus, they formulate the opinions of the masses who have been conditioned to be mentally lazy, and tell them what to think. After all, if it was on (pick a network), it must be true.
But when I talk with people, I continue to hear not the party line, but Conservative ideas--granted, to varying degree--but on the whole conservative values, held by a dissatisfied America in the face of this Mass-Media Marxist juggernaut.
America still exists, in the hearts and minds of those who helped build her, in the hearts of those who served her in the armed forces and elsewhere, in that passed-down pride of our ancestors in creating and building this nation.
We cannot win if we quit.
We must continue to fight, however we can, but especially in the realm of ideas, to regain the Liberty stolen, power usurped, and Rights abridged by a long string of offenders, especially those of late--and to jealously guard those Rights for all Americans.
My allegiance, too, is to God first, family and Country.
My country, however, is the America the founders wrote into the Constitution and Bill of Rights, not the septic pit of modern legislation which ignores what it claims to be the Supreme Law of the Land.
If we are ever, or if our children's children are to restore that America, it is up to us to teach them. We cannot do that if we quit.

Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains set lightly upon you; and may posterity forget ye were our countrymen.”
Buck up. The fight is just beginning.
America is an idea, not a piece of real estate. Loyalty to a piece of land that no longer harbors those ideas and ideals is foolish. The American dream is not here anymore....but it is alive in some places.

We also cannot win if we do not coalesce and use mass people power to take back the country. What is needed now is national leaders, like the Governor of Texas and Ted Cruz, for instance to say this far and no further, to stop the Federal tyranny in its tracks, to pack DC with millions of Christians and shut the city and government down. The continued fight through the administrative and legal appeal processes will result in slow death. The government and the courts are corrupt and justice will not be found there.
Welcome to the realization that Until politicians, both elected and appointed, fear their ultimate face to face meeting and judgement by CHRIST, more than they love power and money, nothing will change.
Its alive in every heart that keeps it alive and I refuse to give the real estate to liberals without a fight.

There is definitely a remnant of Americans who understand what true freedom is but these quotes, and they are from average, everyday people, shows me that ultimately, the war is lost. When you feel you have the right to demand of someone that they “reexamine” their beliefs, beliefs they hold sacred, then a line has been crossed.
And, I will do everything in my power to make sure that neither of my children have anything to do with the U.S. military. The last two wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and their ultimate resolutions, as well as the purging of top officers in all 4 branches, have opened my eyes to the fact that the elites in this country/world have no problem at all sending my son to fight what is truly THEIR wars. It’s not much different from the feudal system years. The nobles had their disputes, their greed, and then rounded up the serfs to fight on the battlefield.
As far as the effects of this SCOTUS ruling on gay marriage, anyone who says it won’t have any effects on religion, Christianity in particular, are lying. We’ve already watched as good, honest businesses have been forced to shut down because they didn’t “reexamine” their beliefs — churches and all Christian institutions are absolutely next. Like George Takai said, they’re just getting started.
How can France, of all countries, manage to bring together hundreds of thousands to protest gay marriage but here in America...we’re content to sit at our keyboards and vent on social media? My husband says that Americans just aren’t the type of people to take to the streets, and I guess he’s right — no matter how just or righteous the cause.
The problem I have being a Christian is, when attacked, I have to turn the other cheek, forgive and love my enemy. What the hell happened to CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS? I’m not going to any “safety enclave” with a bunch of people that won’t fight. We’ve got ISIS vowing to kill us and when they come at us I’m supposed to pray about it? Something needs to be fixed...how about instead of an enclave, a crusade (with F-35’s)? Onward Chrisian Soldiers...
Amen. We SHOULD have marched en masse to the White House and Congress, but alas, we didn’t fight....we TALKED.
I’m kind of with you on this point.
Conservatives don’t want to rock the boat. But are we going to stand around and lament America’s passing or are we going to come together and beat this?
It’s time for going to Washington with a little civil disobedience. It’s time to fill the streets with cars, trucks, motorcycles, and people. Its time to shut DC down and keep it that way.

Been there, done that...they are called Christian communes...
Seriously considered joining one in Texas (not Waco) in the early 80's after I got saved...
Unfortunately, people are still sinners and what sin affects living in a normal life also affect those who commune together even in a Christ centered environment...
Rarely, if ever, it works long term...
It's also pretty hard to reach the world behind your walls...
