Probably all the sunshine, sport and fitness, and hugely better diet, but Aussie girls also tend to be far prettier than their British relations. Bad teeth, poor hygiene (they still favor baths over showers), flab, death pallor skin, and beer/cigarette breath are all too common traits of your average out on the town for a curry and a pint English Rose.

Since the time it washed the dirt off your body and down the drain instead of stewing in an effluvium of soap and body dirt in a bath.

Each to their own preference, but when did soaking in a warm stew of water, soap, and one’s own bodily dirt and oils become more hygienic than soaping up, scrubbing, and spray washing it all down a drain? Have to say, though, that the Japanese have the best method ... shower, suds, scrub, and rinse thoroughly first and then soak neck deep in clean hot water. So clean your skin squeaks.
