.....I don't trust Obama with determining what protections I should be allowed as a citizen any more than I trust him with our general defense, the economy, health care, job growth - or anything else.
The usual justification for such abuse of the rule of law is that the post-9/11 period demands a different code of conduct to ensure people's safety. But politicians can always find excuses for why they should be allowed to disobey the Constitution.....

True. But by the time we get to that point, we'll be saving ourselves because there will be nothing left of this country to save.
I know that you don't like Ron Paul and are pretty iffy about most libertarians, but we are the idiots who throw ourselves on political grenades defending the Constitution, even when it is unpopular, so that the rest of us don't have to throw ourselves on real ones.
I'm glad Awlaki is dead. But the idea that Obama and a bunch of his cronies can cook up a hit list on his own, with no Congressional authorization, no indictment, no judge or jury and specifically target an American citizen for death is bone-chilling to me -- especially after Janet Napolitano included "ex military" and "those with Gadsden flags" as "potential terrorists".
The fact that the left would savage Pres Bush for doing the right thing does not mean we should savage Obama for doing this thing right. And how many here would have criticized Bush had he reduced Alwaki to room temperature?
When it comes to matters of national security, Paul cannot be trusted.
If aiding and abetting an undeclared "enemy" is sufficient cause for the U.S. government to take this kind of action, then I fail to see how Jane Fonda can go about her business freely in this country to this very day.
Normally I would err on the side of caution as you are, But I don’t think we can give vermin like Alwalki or Adam Gadahn any quarter.
So when TOTUS told you to give your grandmother a pain pill instead of getting a new hip, that didn’t cause any concern on your part?
Or when TOTUS said failed aborted babies should just be put in a corner to die, without any medical treatment to save it’s life, that also caused you no concern?
You’re welcome
In order to lose his citizenship, it must be shown that ..."
Shown? Shown where? Shown to whom? Obama? You? Me?
To my knowledge, it wasn't shown either in Congress or any Court.
Look, all I'm asking is that SOMEBODY of some vested governmental authority OTHER THAN Barack H. Obama make some determination that Awlaki had relinquished citizenship.
I agree that there's ample evidence for such a finding; but if Obama is the ONLY person who needs to make such a finding, doesn't need to tell anybody, and can then "EXECUTE" such a finding .... well, then we're all in deep, deep doo-doo.
The administration also called the Tea Party terrorists. With that proclamation, it gives them the authority to shoot each and every one of us at a Tea Party.
Look.
I am not here to comment on Obama.
I am here to say that I think its fine that the US Gov recognized that Alwaliki was an enemy combatant that was recruiting people from within the USA and that they had enough evidence to say “burn the trojan horse”
Remember, your life now depends on your answer. (and so does mine)
Ron Paul does not know the Constitution. Al-Awalaki denounced his citizenship by taking up arms against the US. It’s called treason. And you think Paul has it right? It is abhorrent that Ron Paul and anyone else denounce the killing of someone so evil. Shame on you and Ron Paul.
I understand. I’ve just read an article that said he was not an American.
My point, as a Tea Party activist, in which they have proclaimed me a “terrorist”, is that they can kill me at their leisure.
This is the article I was talking about.....

No.
Nappytano eluded that.
She used the term potential terrorists if I am not mistaken.
I don’t think your tack would make a viable political or legal argument.
My opinion may not stand up to the law either.
Its just my opinion.
All I know is that I am glad Alwaliki is worm dirt.
Now bring me the head of Adam Gadahn.
I’m with ya! Too bad some people can’t see that this creature denounced his citizenship by taking up arms against US. It’s like logic or something, huh. Talk about being “stuck on stupid”.
The same people that won’t take me, because I’m injured from the first rounds of service in the Army, plus being too old. What would you give in defense of this country?
I say, “let them argue about that over at HuffPo or DU”
Let them damage their guy.
We don’t really need to wring our hands over it.
They are hitting him for us.
"Nappytano eluded that. She used the term potential terrorists if I am not mistaken.
"Eluded", stated, same thing. Do you remember all the people pulled over with ProAmerica, anti barry stickers to be checked out after her "eluded" statement that we just may be terrorists?
I didn't forget, nor will I. I just can't wait for 2012.
I’m as sick of you. Call his office tomorrow. I plan to. Ron Paul doesn’t know the Constitution or foreign policy. Al-Alwaqi ceased to be a citizen the day he took up terrorist activities.
Ron Paul is clueless. The diffence is that Al-Alawqi took up arms against the US. Tea Party members are the antithesis of terrorists.
