The TSA chose Meg McLain for special screening. They wanted her to go through the new porno-scanners. When she opted out, TSA agents raised an enormous ruckus. When she asked some question about what they planned to do to her, they flipped out. TSA agents yelled at her, handcuffed her to a chair, ripped up her ticket, called in 12 local Miami cops and finally escorted her out of the airport. Listen to her story as she told it on radio show Free Talk Live last night. Things are truly getting scary.

TSA is going over the top on PC refusal to properly profile likely terrorists. Because of this decision, the actions of TSA crews, especially those prone to abuse of authority, will increasingly escalate in their disregard for 4th amendment rights.
That said, this “victim”, Meg McLain, is no innocent. A cursory check into her background as a “blogger” and “film maker” reveals substantial links to “Free Keene” radio. The blog on which she posts is loaded with anarchistic video confrontations with local police and EMT/Fire Department crews, “street theater”, graffiti on war memorials, and other dubious activity. Blogs with titles like “The Peace, Freedom, and Pro$perity Movement” are indicative of the anarcho-leftist tripe that populates McLain’s resume. Her trip to Florida itself was a mission to film similar antics. This incident has the look and smell of an experienced agent-provacateur.
TSA is wrong and bullying in its over reach at airport security checkpoints. That policy deserves rebuke. Meg “Smeg” McLain as victim?...not so much.
The best thing we can do as the public is refuse to fly unless we absolutely have to. We checked into Flex Jet and its $1,200 per hour for a 6 seater so that is $200 per person for an hour flight. Not bad if you can get a group together to go somewhere.

These machines are only a step up from the machines you already walk through to enter the courthouse.

Indeed. I have looked at some local charters here and if you can get a group together for a trip, they are very competitive with respect to cost.

Ever read the 4th Amendment? The problem here is that Muslims and foreigners aren't profiled. Common sense isn't used and all of us are having our Constitutionally protected rights abused at the hands of a corrupt Administration.
Bush's TSA kept us all safe for years without the strip search machines and vaginal/breast and penile crotch grab sexual assaults.
These methods are THIS administration's attempt at further humiliating and desensitizing the American public to the abuse of 4th Amendment rights. An attempt to beat us down psychologically into submission. Many a tin pot dictator's regime has done the same to the citizenry in the past. But we are Americans and are supposed to value liberty,freedom and our God-given Constitutional rights more then other dumbed down or gullible populations throughout the world.
I don't believe we've lost our heart yet, and this litmus test being used by this administration isn't floating with the general population. Thus the public backlash.
The irony in all this is that the same liberal idiots who say a woman has a right to her own body in regards to killing an innocent child have no problem having them groped by complete strangers, male or female. Hypocrites all!
One more note: This shows that REAL men don't exist in the TSA. Any man, who calls himself a man, but would stand by and allow women and children be subjected to these molestations is NO man at all.
Did you actually read the link you provided? These are venue specific tools and a far cry from “driv(ing) down a street & backscatter(ing) everyone with radiation”...
First, if you are looking for a bargain, chartering a private jet is not likely the best deal if your departure/destination is served by a low cost carrier like Southwest. A round trip from Dallas to the Los Angeles area in one of our jets would cost approximately $14,000. There would be extra fees for the pilot to wait, depending on how many days you stayed.
What charter DOES have to offer:
Depart/arrive on your schedule, 24/7. We don’t go until you are on board. Did your plans change? Call the pilot or dispatcher and tell them the new departure time.
You are chartering the whole jet. Who sits in the other seats is 100% up to you.
No TSA hassles. We will check your name against the No-Fly list. The first time we fly with you we ask for a photo ID. After that, we know you. All you get from that point on is “Howdy! Good to see you!”
Are you going on a hunting trip? Bring your guns! We will put them in the baggage compartment. Bring your dogs. What type of doggy treats do they like?
We stock the airplane with coffee, ice, soft drinks, booze, snacks, all free for your consumption. Tell us what you want, and we will have it on board. Do you want a nice catered meal? No problem, but we will pass those costs on to you.

Charter operators go to thousands of airports in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, South America, the Caribbean, etc. Tell us exactly where you want to go. Chances are there is an airport close to your destination other than the one served by the airlines.
You will park your car at an FBO (Fixed Base Operation) at the airport. FBO’s normally are classy business-atmosphere operations with numerous amenities. Then you will walk a few steps to your aircraft parked outside your door.
At the destination, same thing. We will pull up to an FBO. We can arrange in advance for your rental car TO BE BROUGHT OUT TO THE AIRPLANE or your taxi, etc.
Your baggage is never lost. If you have a lot of baggage there is no extra charge, but if you have really, really lots of baggage we might have a weight/space issue and ask you to send some of it UPS/FEDEX.
We are discrete. I’ve had men (who I knew were married) fly on trips with their mistresses. I’ve had drug dealers. I’ve had celebrities. I’ve had ‘surprise’ trips where parents whisk their kids to Disneyworld or wives ‘kidnap’ their workaholic husbands and go to a resort.
And for all the male egos reading this, what is it worth to say “We took our private jet to the west coast for the weekend?”
