Has the Democratic Party lost its mind? The Insider says yes and its going to get much worse before it gets better.
(snip)
So the Republicans are aware of the situation? Oh yeah. At least certain members are, and likely some who have very specific details. It is no casual thing to have incoming members of a new Republican House majority telling the media that the White House needs to make certain it doesnt start shredding documents well, thats about as bold a declaration as one makes in this town. Those Republicans are making it clear to the Obama White House that they know something and are willing to go after them over it. I just dont think President Obama fully understands or appreciates what is going to be coming at him in 2011. The scrutiny and the power that a Republican Congress now holds over him is going to immense. Im not exaggerating when I say it might very well break this president.
Break the president? Yeah. President Obama is already trying to balance on a very thin edge. His confidence is shattered. His lack of experience fully realized. Staff have abandoned him or were forced out. Some in the media are actually starting to question him. The big money donors for the party are starting to reconsider their investment. The American voters rejected his agenda by historical proportions. Nancy Pelosi continues to pose a threat both as a national figure that the vast majority of Americans despise, as well as for what she knows regarding certain White House dealings
and now a Congress with the authority to demand answers? To hold investigations? Does anyone really think this president has the strength to endure this kind of political environment?

Is the scandal referenced here the same supposed “bug thing” that happened in South Carolina..or is it something else

No, I think it is misdirection.
Here is a neat little video I hadn’t seen.
I love seeing Liberal Opie’s brother in these skits

Suture your self! Buahahahahaha!
Boehner is a short timer. Wait until he has to deal with 60 conservatives, led by Lt. Col. Allen West.Bonie had his chance to move aside, and now he will be moved.I give him until maybe the end of March, or wih luck, he will be out by January.
Marsha Blackburn is the ticket, and she will plow the road for Sarah. No way to stop that now.
Where’s A+Bert when we need him most?
So Is Palin going to come out and be “No Amnesty” period in any way, shape, or form?
If she did that, she would get my vote.
Don’t fool yourself, Boehner will not be gone by March.
I have no special love for Boehner, but he won’t be gone by March, especially if he delivers.
bfl
The insider did call a couple of things like Rahman leaving the WH and Hillary being considered for VP. I don’t think there’s an insider I think the author just takes leads and rumors that he hears and compiles them into these articles. Good reading though, but it should be taken with a grain of salt.
I do not believe Bonie will deliver.
He is a folder on issues of substance to the electorate.
The last thing we need is the art if the deal. We need to take it to the left, without any hesitation, and lead the legislative agenda.
Its war. And we need a warrior. Bonie is just not it.
I look forward to watching him try to whip the left with wet noodles.
Marsha Blackburn is the one who should have the gavel.
The people do not want amnesty. Neither do conservative Latinos.
Bonie’s failure will mean the end of America as we know it.
It is surprising that so many do not see it coming if he has the gavel.
We will see, but I see no one, even Blackburn, that will deny Bohener at this time.
The American people didn’t want Obamacare, but we have Obamacare.
The American people don’t want amnesty. I don’t see either party saying “no amnesty”
Probably won’t see that either.
Did you read the link in post # 2 ?
I remember quidnunc very well. I really enjoyed his gossip.
She does. She pulled back the certification that said he's an NBC and replaced it with a certification omitting any reference to Constitutional eligibility.
I agree. The question is, how does she use the information without incriminating herself, and without nullifying all the progressive legislation/judicial appointments Obo has made?
These are very entertaining, but as I’ve said before, they read more like a movie script than reality.
Personally, I think the author is just yanking some chains or, putting it more charitably, has pieced together enough plausible details to provide a “realistic fiction” as told from a moderate Democrat’s viewpoint.
I take NewsFlavor with a huge grain of salt. Great stories for Freepers to salivate over.
But true? No way to know.
You should have been here in 1998. There was this poster with presumed connections to an “insider” at Special Prosecutor Ken Starr’s office. His screen name was “quidam” and he talked in riddles about how the “turtle” (Ken Starr) was going to bring down the entire Clinton administration.
Is Ulsterman another “Deep Throat” or a clone of Woodward/Bernstein???
