So the Republicans are aware of the situation? Oh yeah. At least certain members are, and likely some who have very specific details. It is no casual thing to have incoming members of a new Republican House majority telling the media that the White House needs to make certain it doesn’t start shredding documents…well, that’s about as bold a declaration as one makes in this town. Those Republicans are making it clear to the Obama White House that they know something – and are willing to go after them over it. I just don’t think President Obama fully understands or appreciates what is going to be coming at him in 2011. The scrutiny and the power that a Republican Congress now holds over him is going to immense. I’m not exaggerating when I say it might very well break this president.
Break the president? Yeah. President Obama is already trying to balance on a very thin edge. His confidence is shattered. His lack of experience fully realized. Staff have abandoned him – or were forced out. Some in the media are actually starting to question him. The big money donors for the party are starting to reconsider their investment. The American voters rejected his agenda by historical proportions. Nancy Pelosi continues to pose a threat both as a national figure that the vast majority of Americans despise, as well as for what she knows regarding certain White House dealings…and now a Congress with the authority to demand answers? To hold investigations? Does anyone really think this president has the strength to endure this kind of political environment?

My guess: something to do with Chicago real-estate. Perhaps the Olympics.
Those in the know brought land cheap so that it could be resold for the Olympic venues. Something crooked was done, and because the Olympics didn’t go to Chicago, some people are owed money and its all going to unravel.

I hope the shredders in the WH are the same ones as the Toons used. The GE/Pratt&Whitney engines on those are much less likely to explode than the Rolls Royce Trents on competitive models.
It sounds realistic to me. And the insider’s revelation about why Bambi hates being in the White House (and goes on so many trips) is spot on.

That’s a good point ....
But...the actual DIALOG is what sounds contrived to me. I have NO DOUBTS these things are going on inside the White House and the DNC...none. I just think the author is having an imaginary conversation with himself in order to relay some information he is getting from various sources...and he is creating some modern day deepthroat to present his findings.
SO what I actually find hokey is the words themselves in the transcripts...the way deepthroat replies to him. It sounds made up. I have no problem believing the scenario.
If true, this is better than I thought.

She does. She pulled back the certification that said he's an NBC and replaced it with a certification omitting any reference to Constitutional eligibility.
