White House Insider: ” Temporary Insanity “
NewsFlavor ^ | November 8, 2010 | Ulsterman

Posted on 11/08/2010 12:23:15 AM PST by maggief

Has the Democratic Party lost its mind? The Insider says yes – and it’s going to get much worse before it gets better.

(snip)

So the Republicans are aware of the situation? Oh yeah. At least certain members are, and likely some who have very specific details. It is no casual thing to have incoming members of a new Republican House majority telling the media that the White House needs to make certain it doesn’t start shredding documents…well, that’s about as bold a declaration as one makes in this town. Those Republicans are making it clear to the Obama White House that they know something – and are willing to go after them over it. I just don’t think President Obama fully understands or appreciates what is going to be coming at him in 2011. The scrutiny and the power that a Republican Congress now holds over him is going to immense. I’m not exaggerating when I say it might very well break this president.

Break the president? Yeah. President Obama is already trying to balance on a very thin edge. His confidence is shattered. His lack of experience fully realized. Staff have abandoned him – or were forced out. Some in the media are actually starting to question him. The big money donors for the party are starting to reconsider their investment. The American voters rejected his agenda by historical proportions. Nancy Pelosi continues to pose a threat both as a national figure that the vast majority of Americans despise, as well as for what she knows regarding certain White House dealings…and now a Congress with the authority to demand answers? To hold investigations? Does anyone really think this president has the strength to endure this kind of political environment?

As time goes by, it seems that this Washington insider reports has more credibility.

What exactly makes it seem so to you? To me it seems more and more obviously a hoax. Or simply a put on. A hoax would have more substance. This series just vaguely goes nowhere. Constantly hinting at big things, but never providing even small things.

Keeping up a constant "drama queen" mien, with no actual drama, beyond boilerplate gossip, to show for it... It's getting boring really fast. Pretty soon it won't even be fun as a fake.

This bears repeating:

“Barack Obama is no Bill Clinton. He doesn’t have Clinton’s intellect, Clinton’s political know-how, or Clinton’s common sense. Barack Obama is too self involved, too bored of details, too lazy. But even more important, Barack Obama doesn’t have the people around him who will allow a turn toward the political middle. Many of the moderates in the Democratic Party were taken out with this election. What is left are the far left people – the -expletive- “Progressives” if you will. They are still in denial. Never before has such a group of like minded dumb -expletives- inhabited the halls of the United States government.”

And this is why Blubbering Boehner is too weak to get the job done, he is a compromiser, and Obama and his movement are NOT ever going to be. We need a hard ball player, in the mode of Tom DeLay.

This is war. Blubbering Bonie is no warrior, but Marsha Blackburn IS. We need her as speaker, and we need her to plow the road for Sarah Palin.

Enough of the Republican elite controlling weak politicians into positions to act to deny the people the execution of their WILL!

I mean JUST LOOK:

1)

Rep. John A. Boehner’s vote last month against a bill cracking down on illegal immigration is sending “tremors” through the House Republican Conference as the Ohio lawmaker pushes his candidacy for House majority leader.

Boehner is leading the charge to de-fund ACORN, but in the same breath he is willing to support the campaign of this alleged Republican, Dede Scozzafava:

Long time Black coke users are skinny with purple LIPS.. they also develop a pasty white sheen to their skin..I think makeup covers that. Some remain highly functional for many years...I knew one who was the administrator for family child dependency services for 15 years..Did coke the whole time.he made chemical dependency decisions for hundreds of families during that time and was supervisor over the whole statewide program...he made around 200k..had a swimming pool.

Met him while working sec. in a treatment center, had to leave that job after I asked the coordinator why they were handing out viagra to the drunks and addicts..it is a mood altering substance.

Here is a simple solution.

House ethics committee brings up the Samoa Tuna scandal with Pelosi.

That should help “drain the swamp.”

She can’t ‘succeed’ because she is no longer the ‘Majority Leader’.

That would fall to a ‘republican’ Majority leader after January 1st.

He’s abroad because those who do not know him still idolize him! He needs to feed the head and convince himself of his greatness

Maybe he is in denial, telling himself it isn't so, that he has been exposed. He thinks he is the greatest POTUS. Denial, yes , that's it.

I followed the Clinton scandals with great attention back then and saw story after legitimate story emerge, only to be tossed down the rabbit hole by the MSM without any discussion or comment. A national news media that had devoted enormous resources to follow every possible thread of a story lead, no matter how thin, during the Reagan and Bush Sr years suddenly and mysteriously lost their taste for White House investigative reporting. The only stories that really gained any traction were those laboriously and expensively pressed through the court system to a conclusion which could not be ignored away, or THE (Lewinski) story, which was buttressed by such undeniable and incontrovertible DNA evidence that Clinton could not ignore it away.

My feeling is that any number of valid stories and scandals have been and continue to be routinely ditched by a politically sympathetic or intimidated national media.

My opinion.

The Democrats may have an interest in preserving these documents, if the scandel can be contained to the president.

We don’t get to vote for who gets what positions inside Congress.

We vote for the candidates and they vote for the leadershop roles.

I think the insider is someone connected to Rahm Emmanuel’s campaign, which is still in process.

Trhe insider’s connection is.... Rahm.

I find all this believeable, as I could see Obama’s fragility early on, and perceived that if he lost his Democratic Congress, he would not have the skills to make his presidency successful.

He did not get Obamacare passed: Pelosi did.

Our president has no understanding of recent or past history.

Krauthammer is most helpful when describing Obama as a narcissist and a narrow minded, shallow thinker with limited life experience and no ability to educate himself.

As a seriously damaged child he learned skills that allowed him to present himself to strangers as smart and desirable. He is a con but not in a fully conscious way. He does not have much self awareness but reacts to trouble with glib shuck and jive. He uses his intelligence to keep from being caught.

The massive change he has created is about wanting to be loved as a god like Caesar - superior, benevolent, and able to change the world to suit his personal desires. He earnestly believes that he is the Great Emancipator who will one day be acknowledged as the greatest leader in history. He is a megalomaniac with the resources of a vast and unlimited government to try to fulfill his dreams.

He is the vain and haughty naked King of Hans Christian Anderson's fairy tale. He leads a mighty entourage of wannabe geniuses and sophisticates. These are people who set no limits on their grandeur. They are not bound by law or the will of the governed. He and they are taking over the world and making it into their image because they know best how the world should be run. When he fails they will abandon him rather than admit their hubris. They must not be allowed to slip out of the noose of their own design.

Obama will fail because he must. The US is not a Cuba, Russia or China. It is not dominated by a history of slavery and corruption. In this nation we fight our home grown evil even with bloodshed. We defeated slavery on the plantation. Now we must defeat it in the government.
