Jeff is finally "waking up" from the Friday surgery. The swelling has gone WAY down except for one hand. They took his breathing tube out this afternoon and he is talking to me (albeit VERY softly). I was reading him some of the posts and he said to ask everyone to pray for water. He is VERY thirsty and can't have any water until tomorrow. =(
He still is pretty immobile and has lots of drain tubes coming from everywhere. The pain meds are working at keeping him comfortable, but since he just got off the breathing tube, they don't want him sleeping much and have decreased the dose a little for the time being.
There's not a whole lot to report, but I thought you all would like to know that he is MUCH better than he was yesterday.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
Bless you both.
Jeff, get well soon. Freepers, one and all, miss your posts and look forward to your help before November 2nd.
God watches over American patriots like you.
God Bless him......

Prayers, prayers
Thank you so much for keeping us updated about Jeff. Every tidbit is important to us. : )
I know his mouth and throat must feel parched after all that he has been through! Will they let him have a popsicle? It isn’t water, but it’s a change from ice chips.
My sil was given ice chips and popsicle for dry mouth after surgery, but Jeff’s situation might be different.
Praying for God’s blessings for his every need during this very difficult time, and for his successful recovery, healing, and complete well-being.
Keeping you all in prayer as always. God bless.
Better than yesterday and better tomorrow. Get well soon Jeff you are a special person to everyone on FR.
Thank you Gail.
Prayers continue Jeff. Heal well. Oh and Lord, could you please get Jeff a drink of water.
