That is as I remember it unfolding. However, it seemed strange that they didn’t take legal action agains MAJ Cook. It seems apparent to me that they didn’t want to produce a BC. IF this was the case, then expect something like it to happen again. No court martial.
Lt. Colonels are a dime a dozen. Typical "terminal" rank. It's a big step to full bird and bigger to general. Even B. Generals are pretty thick on the ground, especially in DC.
Does he have the evidence proving Barry O. is a usurper? He isn’t going to get it in discovery without a priori.

1. I am sorry for the colonel on the one hand while I respect and admire him on the other.

He has put his life on the line all over the world and served with honor, and will be glad to do so again, but only under a Commander in Chief he knows is legally eligible to lead.
LTC Lakin has questioned the President’s “natural born” status, as mandated by the U.S. Constitution’s Article II, Section 1. After a year of seeking answers, he has not received a definitive response either from the Department of Defense or from his Congressional delegation that would assure him of the President’s Constitutional eligibility.

That was civilian court and civil case. This would be a military court. Different rules. I don't know if that helps or hurts, but it is different.
Sometimes it takes a while to reach the limit of one's tolerance.
Plus there's a lot to lose so the threshold is pretty high.
I don't think this officer's situation would equate to the war crimes trials. Those who participated in the cold-blooded murder of Jews knew it was immoral and ultimately criminal. They knew right from wrong. So, logically "I was just following orders" wasn't a legitimate defense.
If any military officer were brought up on war crimes charges, he would have a legitimate defense of following orders from a POTUS who was elected by majority vote of the electoral college whose election was certified by Congress and who was sworn into office by the Chief Justice of the SCOTUS. Following the orders of a POTUS who turned out to be ineligible isn't clearly immoral (or criminal) if one had no way to know he was ineligible.
Just my opinion. I'm not looking for an argument.

How many times has he volunteered to go to war right after losing a class action lawsuit and just before questioning the legitimacy of his orders?
