Witness this photo for example:
"Do You Take This Pillow...?" What you are looking at is a young Korean man who just married his pillow.
According to the UK publication, METRO, 28 year-old Lee Jin-Gyu married his dakimakura a kind of large, huggable pillow from Japan with a picture of a popular anime character named Fate Testarossa printed on the front.

What kind of idiot marries his pillow? What kind of church even performs this kind of ceremony? Why marry a pillow when you could hold out for a gorgeous duvet? All I can think is that this guy must suffer from "Down Comforter Syndrome."

I wonder if they plan on having any little throw pillows.

Somone probably told him, "If you love your pillow so much, why don't you marry it?"
Now they can Snuggie together.

I give you 10-to-1 that the relationship was consummated well before the “marriage”.
What a wacko.

I miss the days when you didn’t hear about everybody’s fetishes. I swear people will do anything to get attention.
To: BigChiefLtd
By your Freeper name, one might presume you are a dude.
Why would you know about a “gorgeous duvet”? I had to ask my wife and our two pillows.
Just a friendly Jib. No harm meant. ;^}

I’m not that old. And yet it seems to me that in some circles anything that families used to be ashamed of - fetishes, adultery, etc. - is now out in the open, and that people get uncomfortable and downright offended when people talk about religion! Are you a cross-dressing junkie with six kids by six partners? Go on the Jerry Springer show! Are you a devout Christian? Well, that’s personal - keep that “God talk” to yourself!
It’s like a nightmare I can’t awaken from.
