I’m not that old. And yet it seems to me that in some circles anything that families used to be ashamed of - fetishes, adultery, etc. - is now out in the open, and that people get uncomfortable and downright offended when people talk about religion! Are you a cross-dressing junkie with six kids by six partners? Go on the Jerry Springer show! Are you a devout Christian? Well, that’s personal - keep that “God talk” to yourself!
It’s like a nightmare I can’t awaken from.
It DOES seem, at times, it’s the freaks that get all the exposure.
To tell you the truth, I wish people WOULD keep their fetishes to themselves... and most do. But when the MEDIA finds out about it, well, let’s just say it’s a whole lot easier to expose some poor geek who marries a pillow than it is to actually cover REAL news like a REAL journalist... like an administraion hell-bent to destroy our economy and freedom. Now THAT would take a little effort. God forbid we should get some objective reporting these days...
