The Hawaii Department of Health claims to have an original copy of Barack Obama's birth certificate, right?
In fact, it is this established "fact" that has persuaded so many people there is nothing to the question of eligibility.
After all, an official in Hawaii has made a public pronouncement that she has inspected the document and declared on her own authority that Obama is a "natural born American" and thus eligible to serve as president.
For many Americans, that settles the question.
However, now a new version of the story is emerging.
The United Kingdom's Sky News reported Saturday: "Authorities in Hawaii have provided an electronic record of Obama's birth because the paper copy was destroyed in a fire which wiped out much of the state's archives."
Which is it?
Does Hawaii actually have an original long-form, paper birth certificate for Obama, or was it destroyed in a fire?
It seems the story is ever-changing.
And that's why it's time for Obama to come clean.
There is little question the heavily Democratic state of Hawaii has no interest in providing any information that would disqualify the first president claiming to be from that state.
If indeed the state has a copy of the original birth certificate, as Director of Health Dr. Chiyome Fukino claims, it should be no problem for Obama to give her permission to release it publicly – and, once and for all, settle the controversy that has resulted in that state being inundated with inquiries from curious American citizens.

This is a curious statement. I wonder if Hawaii decided to create electronic records before or after the fire.
And I've never wanted Hawaii to release the original anyway. I just want them to sell and deliver a certified copy of whatever they have to anyone who makes a request to purchase one and submits the Hawaii's standard fee for such a service.

Oh come on. Not the old fire burned the records trick. This is not the first time a fire destroyed Obama’s birth certificate. About a year ago, the Obama team of liars floated the story that there was a household fire as I recall in the kitchen(?), that burned up Obama’s BC. The story was reported on FR and we joked about it for a while.

Beyond all of this and the birther controversy, a creation of the MAO-bama water carrying RAT press, the SCOTUS needs to definitively rule on the NBC clause in Article II, Section I of the USC - with respect to our future leaders.

The fire story is untrue. Okubo states that she saw the original records. I don’t know if this is satire or misdirection.

Funny that. Hawaii put a law into place before the election that certain documents belonging to deceased people could not be made public. It even specified papers or scraps of paper found or written in a Bible. Said it was an invasion of privacy, even if the person was dead and even if it did not pertain to the person who died.
Obama probably stormed Omaha Beach at Normady and read the first NAZI soldier he saw their Miranda rights. Another first great accomplishment for our boy leadear.

What we do know is real is that Bam’s in office because a large enough portion of the American public wasn’t sufficiently curious about his qualifications - birth or otherwise. That’s a cryin’ shame of apathy. At the very least they should have cared about his NBC status and his pathetic lack of preparation for the Oval Office. But they bought his Madison Avenue image, which was allowed to burn like a forest fire through our culture by the complicit RAT press. This is the vast untold story of the ‘birfer’ controversy - which is and of itself a manifestation of that very Madison Avenue story line, and Alinsky ridiculing tactic.
