Editors Note: In December 08 a retired CIA officer commissioned an investigator to look into the Barack Obama birth certificate and eligibility issue. On July 21, 2009 westernjournalism.com obtained a copy of the investigators report. Here is an unedited version of the report.
June 10, 2009 Report, updated July 18, 2009 The Territorial Public Health Statistics Act in the 1955 Revised Laws of Hawaii
I think that I now understand the legal background to the question of where Obama was born.
Lets begin with the statement that Dr. Chiyome Fukino, the Director of the Hawaii Department of Health released on October 31, 2008. The television and print media used this statement as a reason to prevent and treat with contempt any investigation into whether Barack Obama was not born in Hawaii. But the language of the statement was so carefully hedged and guarded that it should have had the opposite effect.
There have been numerous requests for Sen. Barack Hussein Obamas official birth certificate. State law (Hawaii Revised Statutes §338-18) prohibits the release of a certified birth certificate to persons who do not have a tangible interest in the vital record. Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawaii, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawaii State Department of Health has Sen. Obamas original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.

It wasn’t a rehash. It was a retarded sight that lifts from FR and then they had the audacity to post here.
Their site pretends to off original thought but it isn’t. It is just excerpt type additions that make no sense or the quality is less than the rest of the post.
You can’t take a strong argument and then end or interject something weak, especially when the quality of the rest looks like it came from here.
Nothing is going on. We used to have a regular welcome thread for newbies that was maintained by volunteer FReepers. Had updated info about FR, our history, posting tips, bootcamp for newbie posters, etc. Some of the mods thought it might be a good idea to try to resurrect that effort. It’s totally voluntary and any FReeper can join in. Or, if no one wants to do it, it can remain dormant.
Thank you Mods for leaving this open. I think we can hash this out later today and move on.
Post On.

Don't Tread On Me Petition (Freep this Petition)
This new FReeper was welcomed and is already being advised, politely, by other FReepers about protocol. It seems to be going well for that new member. That is the intent of the FRWW.
The FRWW went so well on the above referenced thread that our new member just contributed to the FReep-a-thon!
Yea!
WooHoo!
He is also going to tell his fellow church members about the site. They sound like FReeper kinds of people.
Ya caught me!! Yes, I admit I keep a list of FReepers whose soul purpose in life during the primary election was to jump on Fred Thompson threads and say the most outrageous things about him or his wife. Rather than rehashing the same old arguments with the same disrupters everyday, I chose to ignore them. That policy continues to this day. I give their opinion as much consideration as I would a small child expounding on the origins of the universe.
Hey, Tex! Thanks so much for corraling us freeper kitties for a successful FRWW mission....can we go get some beers now? :o)
Welcome to Free Republic.
Ha! Yes, beer would be good about now.
I think I need a good strong glass of chocolate milk myself. I might even drink straight out of the Hershey’s syrup bottle. :)
Way to go! I’m thrilled that the Moderator came up with the idea and that so many people were interested in it!
Let’s hope we’re as successful next time!
That is very good news. Many thanks to you for coordinating the effort.
Good grief....talk about conspiracies...
Who cares that an Admin pinged you to this thread?
And who cares what the topic of the thread is?
Some people just don’t have any clue how to be open minded and see this new “Welcome Wagon” for what it is....simply to welcome new FReepers. You’d think we were starting a new elite group or something, and they are jealous they weren’t invited.
How childish. In any case....I think it’s rather funny how so many jumped on this article and Western Journalism for posting it (because he’s new) and their validity, when the same exact article was posted by another FReeper not too long ago and THAT one was just fine. Sheesh
Why would you vote for an ineligible Panamanian candidate for President? Do you hate America?
Your first post and over 350 hits?
Outstanding! Welcome to Free Republic!
Then you need to put buckey on the same list, for that is what he has been doing here for months!!!
I have not read the entire thread, so forgive me for posting
the obvious... but I must.
[... State law (Hawaii Revised Statutes §338-18) prohibits
the release of a certified birth certificate to persons
who do not have a tangible interest in the vital record...]
If that is the law, then he is compelled to release the
Birth Certificate to every single citizen of the United States!
Then you need to put buckey on the same list, for that is what he has been doing here for months!!!
