An ill wind is blowing in America. Ordinary citizens from coast to coast are feeling a growing sense of outrage over what they are witnessing in Washington. At least one talk radio host states that the rage he is hearing from his listeners indicates that trouble is brewing beneath the surface that could erupt into the streets, not in violence, but in peaceful protest that sends a signal to Washington.

Don't freak out. "They" don't have anywhere near the power required to pull that off.

No, they haven't. They're only just now getting started. A complete reversal of the damage to our constitutional republic can't be attained over night, my friend.

The resistance is building day by day. The tea parties will continue to grow in number, frequency, and intensity, as the months tick by, and the tyranny mounts.

As in the first American Revolution, a point comes when good men and women, having found no redress of grievances from the tyrants, finally take their resistance to the next logical level.

Perhaps you're right. It's just that I'm so frustrated - the press is against us, the government is against us, the tree-huggers, the education monopoly, the unions. Heck, even the repubican party has turned left. The commies have control, and they are using all their power to crush those that speak out against them.

It's gotten very difficult to imagine a peaceful solution at this point.

Thanks for spreading the word. I've got better coming, and that's the speech I'll deliver on the Fourth in Coeur d'Alene. I'll post the more or less final edition here on a separate thread before then. But really, what I've said is just common sense to anyone who's been paying attention. When you look at where we are and how we got here - how does that saying go? "No good can come of this."

When the situation digresses appropriately and more people realize that there's truly nothing left to lose, and possibly something to gain even, THEN we'll see effective organization and action.

The truth is that a lot of people are going to have to be driven to their knees (a position from which many will not return) before the impetus to action takes hold. For many, it will be TOO DAMNED LATE! Funny thing about Americans, though. Most of the time we won't fight until we're backed into a corner. After that, look out: hell's coming, and we're coming with it.

Now we are talking. Ballot box is the only truly effective method and it is how our fore fathers expected change to take place.

Too much energy is being spent on peripheral issues such as birth certificates and late night talk show hosts. It’s time to get back to organizing districts, research where we have a chance, entice conservative candidates, raise money- Let’s Roll!!!!!!

You're at the point where I was, some months back, when I began to despair over losing the Soap Box, the Ballot Box, the Jury Box, and the Letter Box.

I wasn't quite ready to accept the fact that the ascension of Obama was final call to arms for all American patriots.

The truth, though, is that Obama and the Socialists in Congress are well on their way to remaking America into their Marxist vision, and utterly destroying the last vestiges of what was once a constitutional republic.

They are now (finally) in a position to ignore half (or more) of the American public, with impunity. The most leftwing generation in our nation's history has now seized power, and they will not be sharing it, or giving it back to us, ever, unless they are deposed by The People.

Given that every box but the Cartridge Box is now effectively nullified by them, how are we to go about regaining our freedom, and securing the blessings of liberty and prosperity for future generations?

This is the ugly reality that I had to personally face some months ago, but curiously, I now find it liberating. This is a fight that has needed to occur in this country for nearly a century.

In my youth, I would never have imagined that one day, I would personally bear the responsibility to expel tyranny from my own country, as the Founders did in their day. But, here we are, and the choices couldn't be more clear for us.

Very true, but you're the first one among us to step up and lay out all of the most important factors of our situation in one eloquent post.

The game pieces are moving as we speak, and changing what The People's stance and response should be to the tyranny emanating from Washington.

Keep your eye on it though, because I do believe that at some point along this curve we're digressing into, too many people will realize that there's simply nothing left to lose. Then we'll have "change".
