The Broad Perspective on the Growing Outrage in America

An ill wind is blowing in America. Ordinary citizens from coast to coast are feeling a growing sense of outrage over what they are witnessing in Washington. At least one talk radio host states that the rage he is hearing from his listeners indicates that trouble is brewing beneath the surface that could erupt into the streets, not in violence, but in peaceful protest that sends a signal to Washington.

"...trouble is brewing beneath the surface that could erupt into the streets, not in violence, but in peaceful protest that sends a signal to Washington." The media and the left's (I know, redundancy) reaction to the tea parties proves that peaceful protests are not effective. We've basically been ignored.
The tea parties were the soap box and that failed. The ballot box has failed, given the massive voter fraud we've been seeing in the last few elections. And even without the fraud, the choices are severely limited with the republican candidate representing "democrat-lite" these days.
We're getting dangerously close to the third and final box - and it is evident based on the scarcity of ammunition products these days. People are preparing.

The tea parties were the soap box and that failed. Patience, FRiend. The tea parties have just started. They have spread the word and the "i'm fed up" sentiment that is being observed. The steam is building.
Sarah said "rise up" and I think a *lot* of people will.

Oh of course! Distraction is the rule of the day! ...and it's implemented through FEAR! A people who fear and doubt are amazingly distracted! Look at all of us! We are a vast number of people! Collectively, all we'd have to do is "move" as a whole on D.C. and simply bring our BOBs and vow to "hang out" for a week! ...jam the place up solid!....flood the senate and house!....corner legislators!... Nobody would have to fire a shot. To even lock us all up would be a logistics
NIGHTMARE. Do you think ACORN thugs would show up with the mood we would be in? Probably not. It would be a situation stressed with the prospect of extreme violence on a large scale.
But too many people are too far in debt to really sustain such a thing, for even a
MERE week! Gosh! Let's think about this! (in my best Melvin Milktoast voice!) "
...can I get time off from work?! What if they fire me?! I'll lose my insurance benefits!" Hell...that's all going to be a moot point soon anyway! It all falls back to something I said the other day about personal loss. Everybody knows how to really "fix" this problem, but everybody is in "pause" counting what they're going to personally lose and deciding whether or not they're willing to do it. Right now with the disorganized mess that we're all currently in, nobody wants to go down individually in a "blaze of glory". Who in their right mind wants to die for nothing?! Certainly not I! But if a true leader were to rise from this mess and inspire and organize everybody, he/she/it could do anything from declare that we're going to STOP paying taxes, to declare a shooting war, and people would follow. But instead, the best we can muster is to debate whether or not John McCain is a
conservative?! Moreover this, I think the left is actually "amused" by the Tea Parties. I've held my peace about this up until now, but I recently said to somebody here local who called and invited me that I'll go when it's announced that they're bringing tar, feathers, and rope! Oh sure the left
notices! ...and I'm quite certain that they're well pleased that we can occupy ourselves with such time wasters while they move steadily forward. We're pathetic!
But as it is, everybody is too distracted and in fear to do anything. They're like a good friend of mine over this way who stays "paralyzed" and ineffective. He frets at the prospect of two major decisions and ends up remaining status-quo and not pursuing either and so his own personal situation remains the same, which is generally somewhere below the "good" line, but above the "terrible" line. It might not sound so bad, but it leaves him
VULNERABLE and easy to prey on by others who would do so, and
DO. That's were we're at. Worse than this, our enemy knows this, and they're capitalizing
PERFECTLY on it, and will continue as best I can determine.
Mark my words as an
observer. If people don't organize
EFFECTIVELY, we as a collective people will be disassembled, like a huge Lego creation...and turned into something powerless and moot. They will gradually
"de-legitimize" us and validate and authorize themselves. They'll simply make us all criminals by the very principles on which we exist, which is insane to be honest because all we want is for the Constitution to be followed and for the Rule of Law to be implemented. The left would never just send the whole thing crashing down on the floor. They don't want to get "too much" attention in taking us apart. That
could cause us to notice and organize effectively! ...and they don't want that! They'll just pull off a few bricks at the edges each day. By the time they're through, the only ones among us remaining will be so few that there will be nothing which those remaining can do that really matters. We're watching this very thing happen now and personally it pains and grieves me to see it....and it insults me that so many who claim to be
with me are selling us out now, and leaving an insanely small number to fight a nearly impossible problem.
I can't say as I would go so far to say that I
hate weak, fearful conservatives. But I hate that they are so easily controlled and steered into ineffectiveness by fear and doubt...rendered ineffective and paralyzed by it, while the left marches on, categorizing us as
domestic terrorists, extremists, and many other things that simply aren't true.
I hear so many people around me state that they can't
WAIT until Obama is out of office in a little under four years. Can we actually
wait that long? I put on my "Systems Scalability Analyst" hat from work and think that people are
NOT going to be happy if they simply
wait.
No good can come from these observations of mine. Whether conservatives simply
sit and wait, no good will come. If they become outwardly aggressive and do any other number of equally difficult things, no good will come. But there's a
MORAL IMPERATIVE to do what's right here. ...and like with my friend, becoming paralyzed and ineffective with fear, doing nothing....or things which are meaningless (but have great "feel good factor") simply isn't the correct choice.
I'll be seriously surprised if the admin mods don't pull this posting.

Modern committees of correspondence. We should all be involved locally and either join or set up new ones.
At first, they will be infiltrated and watched...but once we exceed a hundred thousand of them all over the country, we will move beyond their ability to do that.
And besides...many of the uniformed services and LEOs are loyal, and dedicated Americans like we are...and we will probably win some converts in the process.

Just as I find your question I see that Jeff has sent you a link to the post I was going make certain you had read.
The post is #15 (Jeff's linked it above) and it is one of the most impressive, mind boggling, important and dead-on posts I have ever read on the FR boards.
The post was executed by FReeper Noumenon and addressed to FReeper Amos the Prophet.
Here is the quote from that post that most applies to your question:
" Change is coming, oh yes indeed - but it's not what any of that Marxist meat puppet's worshipers bargained for. Rand had it right all these many years ago when she said that there is no personal neutrality today. Time to get off the fence. Time to stand up and be heard. Time to start getting together with like-minded people. Time to organize your list of Things To Do, Places To Go and People To Meet. Because when your favorite websites suddenly go dark, when your cell phones and other comm nets no longer work, when the roadblocks go up, when you hear the knock on the door - then itll be too damned late."
"It will be too late unless you're willing, like Atlas, to shrug - and then pick up a gun before they come for you. Unless you're willing to take action, you aren't going to get your country back, much less preserve your own freedom and dignity."
" So don't just sit there with a pile of ammo and a gun in your closet. Participate in the nearest Appleseed Project shoot and join a community of like minded people turning ammunition into skill. Join up with Glenn Beck's 912Project - a latter-day network of the original Committees of Correspondence - to meet more like-minded folks. Connect with people in your own neighborhood to build your own 'Alarm and Muster' network."
"It may be the last chance we're going to get."
hiredhand, did you ever, when watching the old black and white videos of Jewish folk marching in lines to the death camps, feel like yelling 'fight back', 'turn in mass and nail those guards, overwhelm them with your superior numbers...do SOMETHING, ANYTHING!' ? I did. I still get that feeling.
What I fear is that we are looking at this massive attempt to subjugate us and not seeing it because we ALL are way to sophisticated to believe it could happen here. I dunno about that anymore.

Letterman drew first blood and he and his side are defending it. Like it or not we're in a cultural war. Pick a side and fight or die a coward (Not to put too fine a point on it...)
The double-standard must die.

The Fuhrer is hoping for this so he can use his FEMA camps to lock up the American people Hitler had an advantage, the people he wished to lock up had been disarmed by earlier, "progressive"/"liberal", governments. The Messiah does not have that advantage. Instead, we the People are arming up at unprecedented rates.
While that could make things much uglier in the short run, it gives hope for the long run, and because it shows that the Spirit of America is not yet dead.

The Army would order the demonstrators to disperse, and then open fire.

Did you read the complete #15 post by FReeper Noumenon...I mean WOW! It is one great big gigantic wake-up call. We need to begin taking the warnings that are coming from EVERYWHERE with more than a grain of salt. Otherwise, there is a good chance all of us upright, go about our days, dislike, even hate, uhbama and all that he stands for but do nothing about it Americans are going to turn around and notice that we no longer live in a democratic republic.
The days of posting here and communicating with like minded friends will be over. Banned as a 'hate site', FR will disappear into the netherlands. We'll each of us REALLY feel isolated then.

To Jeff and all who have responded: I'm not ignoring you. I've been heads-down on some serious infrastructure issues and this is the first chance I've had to come up for air. To be quite honest, I didn't expect the response I've gotten. I've said as much before. But it seems that the time is right. So there's nothing else for me to do but stand up. Look, I'm nobody special - I'm just a guy with a modest grasp of history and human nature, struggling for comprehension. And what I'm doing is what anyone might do if they saw their neighbors house on fire.
There are some things that need to be said in a clear and public manner. They need to be said before saying them will get one jailed or killed.
So thank you for all you kind words and encouragement. I'm working on a slightly extended and simpler version of post #15. Something more suitable for a verbal delivery. That's going to be the speech that I hope I'm allowed to give at the 4th of July Tea Party here in CDA. I'll publish that on a separate thread for comments and criticism.
One thing: I stand by what I've said. Those of you waiting around for your Creator to do that task which belongs to you - securing your life, liberty and that of your country - are kidding yourselves. More to the point, it's a worldview that's neither ethical nor survivable. It's not too much of a stretch to say that God will not save that upon which so many of us have turned our backs that which makes us free to prosper and to do the will of our Creator according to our conscience. There's a price to be paid for that. If you believe in the notion of sin, then that would be it - and it's a monstrous sin against your Creator, Man, nature, justice and reason. For all the reasons that I'm sure that you can work out for yourselves. Passivity is a crime. Pacifism is treason. Check your premises. Mine are correct.
