More than 20,000 people turned out to see Palin lead a parade through downtown Auburn and sign a proclamation honoring Seward, the 19th-century Secretary of State who negotiated the $7.2 million deal with Russia for Alaska, which is celebrating its 50th year of statehood.

Its designed to encourage discourse amongst concervatives.
If you cant handle someone disagreeing with the premise of some things said on here dont get on it.
All Ive ever done is point out some things that make her less electable than some think, not unelectable, less electable.
Wow, I had no idea Sarah was going to be in NY this past weekend. My husband and I were committed to an event in Boston on Saturday, but if we weren't, and had known Sarah was going to make an appearance in Auburn, NY, we would have gone out of our way to be at that parade!
Does anyone know where Sarah's official "appearance schedule" is? I would just LOVE to see her in person. Still disappointed she backed out of CPAC in February...
Thanks for the ping!
Seward was an amazing man who is often overlooked.
My sister-in-law was there! Huge crowd for the town of Auburn.
She has a facebook page and a twitter account, but the best place to get the real scoop on all things Gov. Palin is conservatives4palin.com
Link? Besides, whether or not a majority of people saw through it, it combined with other things from the campaign to lead many people (including many moderates and Republicans) to view her as less intelligent than she probably is.
Besides, I don't "hang my hat" on that interview; there are a number of things that lead me to assert a national win won't be easy for Palin. For example, here is one poll that obviously demonstrates an obstacle.
But what I really hate is the way you and other fanatical Palin supporters attack me and anyone else if we so much as suggest that Palin might have one weakness. I'll freely admit that my favorite, Mark Sanford, has a number of obstacles, not the least of which are his low approval ratings in his own state. Does that mean I'm not a true supporter of his?
Part of mature political discourse is the ability to look at the facts objectively, whether or not you're happy about them.
Ah, thanks so much, Arizona Carolyn!
I'm envious! Sure hope to see Sarah and First Dude Todd in person one of these days... ;-)
Ditto and to learn she was in Westchester County (almost my back yard) had me steaming.
Stop being the stupid party and be the winning party.
You’re welcome... the C4P web traffic is growing by leaps and bounds...
Thanks for the ping. Wow! 20, 000 turned out.
Gosh, I love that woman!
I voted for McCain only because of Sarah. I was really dissappointed in her abilities to handle he press though . It was apparent she wasnt ready to run for that level of office, though I know she can learn to do beter. her politics and conservative cred is A-1.
All I have done is state the obvious and have been attacked from day one. Im not a stupid man. My observasions are usually accurate.
Im hoping she will improve in the next three years but if she doesn't she will lose, ...and I want to win. Thats my end game period.
Great, thanks for the info.
