IMHO, I have a weakness for goth chicks but for the most part I will have to say no. It is trying way too hard. Think about Amy Lee, she can look very dark and goth, but I've never seen her wear black lipstick.
Even in some of the darkest Euro goth/metal bands, the female lead singers don't wear black lipstick.

Agreed. Girls with black lipstick always seem to be dressed weird, have skin too pale and hair too dark. Far from sexy they just look creepy.

Black lipstick might be OK under certain circumstances but the fashion of outlining the lips with a black line has to go.
