“When I see the those walls, I see the hull of a slave ship,” said Jackson. “When I see those advertising banners and championship pennants surrounding the perimeter, I see a circumspect black man sitting in the crow’s nest. When I see the putrid, scurvy, urine-soaked squalor inside that stadium

When I see Jesse Jackson, I see a grifter.

Why not? They can have the renaming ceremony right before the demolition contractors implode it.

"When I see the putrid, scurvy, urine-soaked squalor inside that stadium......"

Jesse should have gone on to say he was shocked that "his people" behaved so badly....

Jesse is doing his best to incite riot or revolutions.... I wonder if he is on our Foreign and Domestic enemy's payroll.

Jesse is a wasted shit.

I'd go for "Jesse's Joint", since he was more responsible than any other American for the conditions inside during the past week. ;)

Tear it down and name the hole after the mayor of New Orleans. He left evacuation buses unused, the people in the dome with no food, no water, and no security.

Jesse, in case it escaped your notice, all those people in the Superdome were perfectly free to travel as they pleased before and after the storm, or even during the storm for that matter. You'll have to find another race-baiting metaphor.

His Reverendship cavorted with the likes of Chavez, Castro and Arafat. No relevancy here. I think most thinking folk would be embarrased at his actions and having him represent them to the world. He is an opportunist at every turn and loves the limelight. If he were a true minister he would not be in front of every camera in sight. He would be in the background serving as a servant... as Jesus did.

Reverend Jackson said, "When I see the putrid, scurvy, urine-soaked squalor inside the stadium, I think of Danny Glover's acting."

Poor Danny. You know it's pretty bad when the Reverend Jesse Jackson and I actually agree on something.

The way to take care of Jesse Jackson is to get him to take some responsibility for something. I have long said that GW Bush should appoint him as Permanent Ambassador to Africa for the Purpose of Rehabilitation, with the order to come back only when the job is done.

Well, I have a bullhorn of my own, and I say, in a calm, pleasant, melodious way:

SHUT THE F**K UP, JESSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isnt it funny that this tool makes his presence known after something horrible has happened? I dont see him hanging around to help out... his at the hotel bar picking up his next conquest.

Excellent idea. Only one slight problem. Who is he going to shakedown in Africa???
