So typical of the thinking of many Democrats. A complete disregard for the concept of personal responsibility. It's someone else's fault for my problems and I'm going to rely on the government to save me.
"(2) People never lie to exit polls."
Yeah, right. I remember Boortze (spelling???) telling people to lie in the exit polls. People lie all the time, why would this be any different?
More likely a Mini Cooper.
I agree with you 100%. The sinister tone and frequency of violent innuendoes are increasing rapidly over there. I hope I am wrong, but I fear the clanging will get even louder once all hope of "overturning" this election are officially dashed.
""Feeling powerless SUCKS"
Step One: We admitted we were powerless over the perfect Rovian Storm, and that our lives had become unmanageable."
ROFLMAO
In the state of Washington, the county of King has come up with over 3500 over-votes, or more votes than voters who participated. This amount is significant because it is more than enough to change the results for the 4th or 5th time.
In Ohio, all the errors put together do not amount to a hill of beans and can not affect the outcome.
Today the DUmmies are so full of hypocrisy and themselves, they are reduced to having nothing so say either way without getting flamed from within.
The state Republican Party obtained a list of the people who voted in King County as part of a larger request for information designed to show systemic problems with the election.
The data showed that 895,660 people voted in the state's largest county. That's a problem, Republicans said, because King County tallied 899,199 votes -- 3,539 more votes than there were voters.
"We want the names of those people now," Rossi said. "You shouldn't be able to certify an election with 3,500 mystery voters."
Since Rossi wants every vote to be counted and all 'fraud' to be uncovered, let's take this opportunity to educate Republicans and the MSM to the issues in Ohio.
Fine, if they want to see why King County has an extra 3,500 votes, then let's get them to ask why some counties in Ohio had 1700% voter turnout!
You are only making yourself into a clown, Rossi. Stick a fork in it. It's done.
Are we clowns in Ohio, I think not.
Seriously, I think some consistency is called for here. Election fraud should be a bi-partisan issue as the right to vote is one of our most dear rights.
State Republican Party Chairman Chris Vance said King County officials are "in defense mode" and dragging their feet.
"If King County can't explain it, this could be the bombshell that blows up the election," Vance said. "This is the most glaring thing that we've see so far, if it is not adequately explained. You got more votes than you've got people."
You might want to be very careful using words like "bombshell". In the state of Ohio there have been numerous counties and precincts that had a tremendous amout of over voting. In several precints there was 1700% voter turnout! In your zeal to find just a few more votes for Mr. Rossi, you might end up losing the election for Mr. Bush.
the difference is,
in WA the 3K votes irregularity, if true and corrected, would definitely tip the election. In OH, all the irregularities that were mentioned taken together would not have tipped the election.
As for getting MSM interested in those "extra" votes in King county - be careful what you wish for. You will install a Republican governor in WA and (see 1st paragraph) will not cause much difference in OH Bush margin.
#521 my lucky number!
Wow...worse than Lorena Bobbitt!
Hope they're rotting in jail somewhere.
BTTT
That's why I haven't been posting much lately. I just want to wake up one morning and find out it was all a bad dream and justice has prevailed. Then I see Georgdolf Bushler's hideous face on my t.v. and the nightmare comes flooding back. I'm trying to shake it off but it's so exhausting and depressing. I'm not at all looking forward to the new year.
OMG these people are way beyond sad and pathetic, the next 4 years will be hell for them /snigger
Re: Arnebeck lawsuit
"I would hope the average sixth grade student could rebut this steaming pile of..... :-)"
Most definitely. I could take the points in the Arnebeck lawsuit, dry them out, crumble them up, and fertilize the grounds of all of the sKerry estates with them.
"It never even occurred to me to curl up into a little ball and starve myself for the rest of the year, or to get out of my car and scream at people with "Clinton/Gore" stickers on their VW's. "
A big "Amen, brother" from me, Dan, to your whole post.
Re: DUmmies attacking poster refuting their exit poll arguments:
Typical. The DUmmies eye anyone who doesn't have the same lockstep mindframe as a "freeper" - their ultimate insult. But I don't expect anything else from a group of people who are constantly searching for conspiracies under every rock.
Pray for W and Our Troops
Ironic since evil is defeated in both ROTK and the election. :) I always saw Kerry as Wormtongue.
These people are so delusional, it's sad. They wouldn't accept the truth even if it was proven to them. Even I wasn't that despondent when Clinton was re-elected. I just kept doing my countdown to 2000 with Rush and got over it.
"I have been utterly unable to work or do anything to either be productive or make any money for over 2 years now. I have been hanging out in places where I sometimes/often see no hope for myself."
To quote Garth Brooks:
Well, I guess I was wrong
I just don't belong
But then, I've been there before
Everything's all right
I'll just say goodnight
And I'll show myself to the door
Hey, I didn't mean
To cause a big scene
Just give me an hour and then
Well, I'll be as high
As that ivory tower
That you're livin' in
'Cause I've got friends in low places
Where the whiskey drowns
And the beer chases my blues away
And I'll be okay
I'm not big on social graces
Think I'll slip on down to the oasis
Oh, I've got friends in low places
"Polls are only as good as the methodology behind them. Anyone who relies upon them is very foolish. Political professionals use polls as one tool in a large toolkit. They would never consider them as a sole data point for drawing any type of conclusion during or at the end of a race."
Actually, I heard Neal Boortz interviewing Dick Morris shortly after the election. Morris said he had been working with exit polls for 30 years and they were nearly always far more reliable than the one after this election. But this one was so far off because of a poorly-weighted sample. He postulated that the Kerry campaign may have attempted to skew the early results by finding out who was conducting exit polling, where they would be, and when, and then contacting supporters in those precincts to vote at specific times and to be sure they were interviewed. Morris thought that it might be possible that the Dems were trying to make the early voting appear to be so overwhelmingly in favor of Kerry, that it would discourage Bush voters in states farther west. If that's true, then the early results would have been leaked on purpose, for that purpose.
Daaaaamn!! That should be made into a movie! Some producer is going to be crying as much as the book publishers who miss out on PJ's DUFU book for not picking up that story!
