Chief Petty Officer Troy Jenkins is calling on all Patriots

Do you really want to defeat Kerry as President?

Do you really feel deep down in your heart that this is the most important

Presidential election in our history?

Will you sit by and watch as others try to defeat him?

Brothers and Sisters, how many people will be on the Capitol steps this Sunday, surrounded by media outlets and reporters from various organizations?

'The typical Moron that does not know who to vote for by now,
probably can't tell a computer from a TV.'

even so late, I howled at that one!

If there is true info, MILLIONS of us who have been with the Swifties in spirit since their first (ignored by MSM) conference will make SURE that the news gets out. I am within driving distance of three papers, and would not leave the editor's office until he saw me..... :)

Drudge I know, and Lehman I know, but who are you?

As other posters have suggested, take your evidence to Fox. Take it to the Washington Times. Take it to the movies, but put it in the public view. When you do, I'll look at it. Until then, you are in essence saying "I have a plan."

Just so you all know it's not just documentation but also the testimony of Kerry’s SECNAV at the time he was serving

All the existing offical documents show that Kerry received an Honorable Discharge. I don't know what SECNAVs you are talking about, but a number of them who were in office during Kerry's service have died.

Kerry served on active duty as a commissioned officer from Dec 16,1966 to Jan 3, 1970. He then served in the Inactive Reserves until July 1, 1972 and then in the Standby Reserves until Feb 16, 1978. The SECNAVs during this period were Paul Nitze (Nov 29, 1963 - June 30, 1967); Charles F. Baird (acting) (July 1, 1967 - Aug 31, 1967); Paul R. Ignatius (Sept 1, 1967 - Jan 24, 1969); John H. Chafee (January 31, 1969 - May 4, 1972); John H. Warner (May 4, 1972 - April 8, 1974); J. William Middendorf ( April 8, 1974 - Jan 20, 1977 ); and W. Graham Claytor, Jr. (February 14, 1977 - August 24, 1979 ).

Nitze, Chafee, and Clayton are definitely deceased. I don't think Warner would participate given the public statements he has made about Kery's medals. What is the name of the SECNAV who will testify?

"The only way it will have an impact is if the announcement itself is so damning, people have to listen."

Who will broadcast it? The AM talk shows on Monday?

You really think the MSM would touch this?
Yea, I can see Blather now..."this just in"... BS

What gets out over the weekend and on Monday for us will
be just helping our base...nothing more.

It's been posted and pulled ALL DAY LONG.

Nothing like jerking the chains of would-be allies. Pulling the thread at the Swift Vets site after FR and Powerline had picked it up was the Perot Candidacy of October Surprises.

Now a la de da press op is set up for Sunday Morning on less than 48 hours notice? If there's any there there, the whole weekend is wasted and the Sunday talking head shows will ignore it.

Yes, the Swifties deserve a lot of credit, and may be the
deciding factor.
Keep in mind, they were very smart guys, very well organized, and they started very early.

I just do not want us to go so low as CBS/NYT.
Do not count on any MSM paper to give you the time of day.

It would take someone like Drudge to form any traction at this late hour.

Did you catch this from conservativevoice.blogspot.com...

Good job. Looks like you made a buckhead #47 post with this. It took a couple of days, but I think Navy Chief and Tom Lipscomb are going to get this out now.

LOL, Buckhead rides into legend...

We've been trying all week to get MSM to look at the VVAW/VC docs that Navy Chief dug up. No takers. MSM will most likely stiff this assembly, too. Talk radio and bloggers can get the word out, though. We need guerilla publicity. The consequences of failure necessitate our best effort.

So why did you finally go to the internet today, generate a lot of hype, and then pull the plug after a few hours when FR and Powerline were running with the story. Folks were sending e-mails hither and yon, and then NavyChief pulled his own thread.

Now, after wasting the day with the internet and new media, the plan, on 48 hours notice, is to stage a publicity stunt in Washington D.C., maybe, if you can scare up 2500 people to go. Why? Why waste the whole damned weekend? Why waste the opportunity to get this picked up by the Sunday Shows? By cable? You'll miss everything even if you get to D.C.

And the plan? It's not even finalized. NavyChief has gone to bed with everything up in the air, but we're supposed to trust him, even though we don't know him?

As strange as it may sound -- the Chief has got to hit the rack. Can't keep my eyeballs going much longer.

You all are doing great -- someone do me a favor (a nightowl), tally the score of how many we think we'll have and by morning if we reach the magic number of 2,500 going then I'll call in the big dogs and get this really moving along.

If not -- if we can't make that number then we need to regroup and think about another approach.

nightie night

It's getting out but in dribs and drabs. We're just trying to accelerate the process.

As far as I'm concerned, there have been WAY too many "newbies" joining up to post about this "upcoming bombshell."

I'm partially to blame for it (on a teenie-tiny level) - I'm one of the people who encouraged others on SwiftVets to post this on conservative/anti-Kerry sites and I even made the suggestion that people post it on FR because I thought people respected NavyChief. He has been extremely reliable and trustworthy and has an IN with some conservative media outlets.

And now, I'm sorry if this seems a little rude or preachy, but I'm getting awfully tired of Freepers eating their young. Are we a welcoming community or are we going to nitpick at every little perceived offense?

I came here originally as a direct result of the RatherGate scandal and have been very impressed with the way this community works - with one exception. People are way too quick to call someone a troll or fuss at minor infractions.

We are totally united in purpose (except those lurking from that DU site) and we need to chill out a smidge...
